  • +4

    Thumbs up for the effort

  • +11

Don't eat maccas / hungry jacks very often but +1 for all your effort :)

  • +1

Once again, I weep for NSW :(

Excluding: Smithfield, Eastgardens, Maroubra, Coogee and Mascot.

But anyway, indeed, thumbs up for the effort!

  • +3

    What a legend!!

  • +25

An OzBargain Hero badge should be created – and given to you.

  • +2

Good deal; too bad it's all fast food.

    • not necessarily a bad thing.

      • +1

Fast food is not necessarily a bad thing? Really?

  • So specific.

  • +4

Woohoo!! Tightarse for president……top job! Much appreciated…

    • +31

Why didn't you post it jv? I enjoy making people's lives easier.

        • +4

Come on jv, let's not get into an argument over trivialities.

        • -7

it's not an argument, just a comment of fact.

        • +13

          @jv:

Don't be a party pooper jv.

I bet you'll secretly print yourself out the Clifton Hill deal :)

        • +4

          @jv:

JV Amar89 is beating you in the neg count today.

but i saved my votes for you! you never let me down :)

        • +13

          @tightarse:

Why are you such a party pooper jv?

          I'm on a retainer.

        • +19

          @humdogg:

JV Amar89 is beating you in the neg count today.

I've trained him well. He's ready to graduate.

        • +1

          @jv:

          Couldn't agree more JV.

        • +1

tips fedora to you mate, every (profanity) time.

dont you have anything better to do then waste other people's time on a bargain website, commenting everyday.

        • @jv: I believe the term is "retentive" !! :)

    • Classic jv

    • +2

Poor jv. From most favourite in the forum post to least favourite in this deal :(

    • +5

Tip of the hat for the big effort putting this together TA.

Ignore JV, at 500+ for this deal his opinion of what constitutes a bargain clearly counts for very little.

      • +1

        Thanks chook :)

  • +2

Thank you for your service in the Bargain Battleground TA.

  • +1

Great effort. You are a true ozbargainer

  • So do you just print these out and show them?

    • +2

yes, you need to hand over the copy, or just use the ones at the back of your supermarket dockets to save on toner and paper.

Most of the discounts above a nearly always on. When the date finishes, they just put up new ones…

      • +5

Actually a lot of shop a docket vouchers now can just be shown on a smart phone and hit Redeem :)

    • +1

I mentioned the deal at HJs drive through and cashier didn't even ask to see the voucher. At Maccas drive through I showed them the voucher on my phone and the cashier had to get the manager's okay. In general they are unlikely to refuse you a sale just because you don't have a docket / printout.

      • +7

they are unlikely to refuse you a sale just because you don't have a docket / printout.

        Subway most likely would…

        • +4

Hell, Subway even refuses their own sms coupons!

        • From past experiences, most branches would ask for a printed copy even though on the website it says you can show them the promotion on your phone. It just shows lack of consistency and training among the branches.

  • gg literally going to mascot for nuggets every day now

  • +2

    like this!

McDonalds Eastgardens, Maroubra, Coogee & Mascot Small Fries & 6 McNuggets for $1.00
    why no Kingsford and Randwick?

    • +2

Because they get enough business with all the Uni students ;-)

    • +2

They're a different franchisee. Most of these deals are set up with the individual franchise owner and not head office. Some franchisees like doing Shop A Docket deals, others prefer different methods.

  • Great work TA.

  • You are a bloody legend - great work!!

  • +1

Don't go to HJ Helensvale(Qld) it's still being built. Thanks for other links though.

  • House of Gelato Maroochydore (in the Sunshine Plaza) is tops. The flavours the guy produces are all created in house and they are delicious!

  • I am a vegetarian. Does McDonald offer any Veggie burgers ?

    • -1
    • I know they will let you swap out a whopper for a vegie whopper (I realise your asking about the clown and not hungry jacks)

  • Upvote for the effort. Thanks TA, where would we be without you?

  • +2

lol, I was going to comment that under the WA section for the Oporto docket you spelt "Balcatta" wrong, but it appears the people at Shop-a-docket can't spell Balcatta and think it's Balcutta.

Minor mistake on their part and all you did was copy what the docket said. Thanks heaps for the effort you put into this! :)

    • +2

Thanks bonez. Now correct in the post.

    • +2

Woops! Thanks for picking that up bonez, we'll get it sorted!

  • +1

"Hopefully these will save some money for you guys."
Sometimes it will actually cost more, just feeling guilty of not buying something cheap!

  • +1

Will drive 20k to get a $2 burger and fries.

    • -1

      You're kidding, right?

  • Damn TA, the call of duty is strong in you.

  • Thanks man I will use some this wknd :)

  • +2

Eastern suburbs of Melbourne got shafted.

    • Yeah. But thanks OP for the effort!!!!

  • +1

    This is awesome

Not only are the burgers better at hungry jacks, the cheese burgers are now 5% better value than McDonald's cheapest cheese burger !!!

    • It's taken me about years to remember how much better HJ are than McD. McDoubles @$2 = quantity > quality. @$4.40 = back to HJ.

  • +3

Thanks for your hard work TA. You are a legend!

  • How does this work in the behind the scene? Do Shop-a-docket contact all the fastfood headquarters, sign some agreements, design the vouchers and then set them up on their website?

What happens if the fastfood retail staff don't know about this when I show them the voucher?

    • They'll know… they always know

    • +5

Hi! The deals are mostly all done with the individual franchisees rather than head office, which is why you'll see such a range of different offers and availability at selected locations.

Most of the retail staff are aware of the deals but every once in a while someone may not be aware of the deal or the fact that we have printed coupons from the website or the mobile coupons and they'll tell you that they only accept the supermarket dockets.

Usually the manager will know but if you have any problems just use the contact form on our website and we'll get back in touch with the owner of the business to sort it out.

  • TA your such a legend! Thx for another great ozbargain post :D

  • Nice work..thank you TA!

  • thanks

  • +2

All the WA offers seem to be in boganˆWlower socio-economic suburbs. Is that the same for other states?

    • Lol that's so true.

  • thanks tightarse, first time ive seen vouchers for tuggerah

  • you're doing god's work, TA

  • Thank you!

  • Amazing TA, thanks!

  • +1

Feels like I'm eating too much saturated fat
    OzB you are killing us

  • Great job TA, thanks heaps.

  • Awesome work - thanks!

  • Great work. I won't take advantage of this deal, but it am sure many will (and hopefully in moderation).
Deserves every positive vote it gets.

  • Nice work TA. Thanks for sharing!

  • This rocks!!!

  • Accidentally hit the redeem button oops

  • Nothing for my area but top effort collating the details!

  • Upvote for the effort

  • Nice work! Thank you!!

  • Wow! Impressive effort!

  • +11

Thanks TA for an awesome effort in collating those deals! Unfortunately I can't give you a + vote as a Shop A Docket rep, but thanks for the post and we're really glad you're enjoying the deals!

  • Thanks TA.

  • Theres KFC Vouchers (VIC) currently available that you missed TA.

    • +1

I know. I only included what I thought were the best deals.

But will add some now all the same. Thanks.

  • Love your work, TA.

  • For Maroubra and co. its 6 nuggets or 10 mcbites, no fries.

    • +3

Hi gmail. The fries were only mentioned as you need to make a $1 purchase. So buy the small fries, and get the nuggets/McBites free!
