Tontine Pillow $6 @ Coles
Does it include free pickup ?
Anything special about these pillows?
How much do pillows cost usually? Never bought one.
Feels like a stupid question.
How much do pillows cost usually?
They were $6 last week (including free pickup)
I bought it $10 at Best and Less last year.
Unfortunately at that time I was still not an Ozbargainer.chonghe
Member Since 14 Nov 2012???
Yup I registered in 2012, but haven't really active visiting this website until recently.
Awww gees jv, methinks we need to take up an OZ-B collection to shout you a night out, or somethin'! ;-P … I mean… fancy 'calling shenanigans' on a slight date-discrepancy in an inconsequential off-hand comment in a trivial 'in passing' post on a thread about cheap pillows ?!?
In the words of THE Ghandi (or was it Chevy Chase?); 'Is that what we're doin' now?' ;-P
Anything special about these pillows?
No not really. I've found they go flat fairly quickly.
I wish they would do their "swap out your old pillow for a free tontine" again :S

Yeah, I was thinking about that just last night when I noticed the 'expiry' date of April 2014 on one of my pillows.
I noticed the 'expiry' date
Mine have 'best before' dates :O
LOL I'm pretty sure my pillows have expiry dates from many years ago.
I bought 2 x 2 packs Kmart pillows with feathers in it… I got mine twice different occasions for $15 ($7.50 per pillow) but I see currently they are $18…
God damn what a difference in comfort it makes! I'm never getting foam again, I thought I had my last pillows in the groove but you just sink into these. Go there and squeeze it and you will feel difference. They aren't specific on type of feathers but I don't care if these are emu feathers, it's so comfy and I'm fresh as a daisy on 6 hours sleep now.
Does the feather filling ever go "flat"? Or do you wash them and then tumble dry to get them to "fluff up" again?
Dear Fufes, back in the early 1980s when I worked in the 'Bedding' industry we had 'Fluffers' to ensure that when the, erm 'equipment' went flat, it was rapidly 'fluffed up again', to use your turns of phrase. In my opinion, the fluffers were not paid enough for the jobs they did.
I've seen those feather pillows and was tempted, but the odor of those feathers put me off. Does it ever go away?
Your UN betrays you slothy… clearly sloths just 'hang/chill/sleep' anywhere, and no self respecting sloth would ever settle for just '6 hours'… ;-P
I'd just about kill for even 6 hours sleep.
