  • Good mouse just wish battery life was longer

    • Common complaint (I felt the same when I was using my old G700). Also the battery level indicator is terribly inaccurate (one red LED sometimes meant another entire day of usage).

Best trick is to keep a battery charger full of Eneloops plugged in and then just swap them out as you require. I had a Sanyo USB AA/AAA charger on my desk, so whenever my battery ran flat it was super-convenient changing it.

      • i had the same compaint i recently switched to the G602 recently is a month ago lol and my eneloop's only just ran out so much better.

      • Do the Eneloops last any longer than the 'eni time' battery that comes with it or pretty much same thing?

        • +1

I picked up a pair of Eneloop XX batteries. They definitely last longer. I don't have an exact figure of this though. The Enitime batteries that come with the mouse have 2000mAh. The Eneloop XX batteries have 2450 mAh

      • G700s has no battery level indicator on the mouse itself. Have to rely on what the indicator in the Logitech Gaming Software says. Any way i find that a battery lasts about 2 days on my G700s but it does flatten more with gaming.

        • They do actually. They're not always on though. I've binded a key to display the battery level. It uses the same LEDs on the left side of the mouse as the ones used to display which mouse profile you're using.

        • They do?. Where is the battery level indicator on the G700s?. Oh those 3 LED indicators on the side. There's so many buttons on the mouse i hadn't figured out what is for what yet.

        • +1

G8 button default (I think it is) makes the lights on the side light up. More lights = more power. (At least it does on my G700 non s version)

Doesn't work well with rechargeable batteries though which is odd to me.

Also I wish the popup on screen saying batteries are low were more consistent. At the moment for me it only shows up when I turn the mouse on and if the battery is low. Not when it's draining and getting low from usage.

        • G700s has no battery level indicator on the mouse itself.

Every time you turn the G700/G700S on or off the LEDs will light up to indicate battery charge.

When you're nearing depletion, one red LED will blink continuously.

          RTFM dude.

Not the best price ever, but it's close.

    • Your 2 links are $60.87 and $69 delivered. Also they're from Amazon US which creates problems with returns.

$60.72 delivered in this post even though the poster jumbled up the price a bit in the title.

Should have just mentioned the after coupon price only, or at least put it first. But the coupon is only active for another 50 minutes if 'tonight's code only' is accurate so whatever.

  • Get a G502… simply awesome!

    • -1

Why did this guy get downvotes? The G502 is a superior mouse in every way, anyone who owned a G9(x) and is looking for a replacement for that aging battleship of a mouse, the G502 is what you're looking for, I've gone through 4 mice since my G9 started playing up (after 5+ years of service) and the G502 the last one I tried, I'm tempted to buy another and put it away so I don't have to waste money trying to find a replacement for it when/if it dies.

(of course, if "cordless" is your primary consideration, then this one will do the job, I suppose)

      • You hit the nail on the head. I'm not 'core' enough to care about ms response time, and there's no way in hell I'm going back to a corded mouse.

Bought 2 days ago with ebay 20% off promo for $64 from dicks. Got $3.28 worth of buyers remorse.

  • This is a great mouse in my opinion. Very comfortable to hold, far more functions that I can find a use for, and utterly reliable tracking. And since you can charge it with an microUSB cord, it's very convenient too.

I've had no issues with battery life personally. It easily lasts 2 or 3 full days of use, and it's no big deal to just plug in a charge cord for an hour or two and keep going.

  • damn, i meant to buy this last night with the 12% coupon, but forgot! :(

    • That's a shame. Best you're going to get today is 5% off using the coupon 5MORE
