    I wouldn't touch a Seagate drive witha barge pole. Over 20 years, EVERY single one I ever had died within 12 months.

      I am not sure how many disks you are talking about, I have about 6 disks for over 10 years, none of them have failed.

      The common issue I have always had was maxtor electronics failing (3 times on 3 cases).

      Seagate are generally reliable and are commonly used in high-end storage arrays used by telcos, banks, etc.

    I don't like Iomega due to how they treated non USA residents about their "click of death", couldn't trust them at all.
