Yes, that's for the co.uk site. I thought a separate deal would be better as the .com site was only launched recently, and some people may not be aware.

It's US oriented, selection-wise they'll have more US titles now, which they couldn't previously sell due to rights restrictions. And their pre-orders seem to be cheaper generally 24%-54% off RRP compared to 0 - 25%.
They'll still be shipping out from England for now though.

Hmmmm… The DNS is registered through a different country, but they're hosted at the same colo and running the same web server software. SSL certs are through different vendors as well.
How sure are we that they are the same company, and not just someone trying to scam people mis-typing the address?

If I was launching an overseas office on my business, I'd mention it on my main site.
Not sure why there's nothing on the co.uk site, but they mention the launch on their twitter and facebook.

Argh, I just placed an order last night on the .co.uk site (including a preorder). I knew of the .com site but I didn't expect there would be a difference in price. Could have saved myself $7 AUD! :(
Oh well, lucky I didn't go all out and do a bigger order. Now, to see if I can get that preorder cancelled… :)
Edit: Success! Just got a reply that my pre-order has been cancelled and refunded. Seriously, with the cheapest prices on the internet and top notch customer service, what isn't there to like about Book Depository? :D

before i read this deal
i think 10% has been deducted automatically and there is no space for a coupon to be inserted. correct me if i am wrong.
once you press add to card, click go to checkout, and its just above the book you bought, enter in the code and press "add code" - then proceed to payment
Before you checkout make sure you've clicked the "Go Shopping" link from the offer page, otherwise the text field for entering the coupon won't show up in your basket.
