Hello, but the free(usually by giveaway) version doesn't support free upgrade to future versions while purchased version can. You know, DVD producers are trying to prevent customers' backing up or ripping DVDs by updating their DVD copy protection technologies. The latest WinX DVD Ripper (purchased and supports upgrading)helps you solve the problems.
But keep in mind that DVD backing up and ripping are only allowed for personal use. :)Hello, but the free(usually by giveaway) version doesn't support free upgrade to future versions while purchased version can.
All your previous listings when it's free you've stated the savings as $59.95, but now you're saying that these versions are in fact crippled versions which would not be worth that price. Very misleading either way.
fair enough. good deal if you were after a good dvd ripper. Good luck :)
The rep has made a false and misleading statement in the title that this price is the "lowest ever", when clearly the lowest price has been $0.00 multiple times this year by this same rep.
Got to agree with you there, regardless of the differences in versions distributed.
Yes, the price $0.00 is the "lowest" for this product. But for $0.00 you can only keep that exactly version and can't upgrade it to a higher version.
But with $29.95 (the really lowest price we ever offered), you can enjoy lifetime free upgrade to any higher version. That is to say, you can upgrade this purchased program whenever we release a major/minor update without paying a dollar.
That's the difference.Couldn't we just wait till you offer the updated version for free? Strange business plan.
I tried the freebie previously and went back to DVD Decrypter (FREE) and Handbrake (FREE) as being better suited to my needs.
isnt this like always free?
