  Weird question: I'm a single guy, works at/from home (virtually a shut-in); only go out maybe 3 or times a week to get groceries/watch movies/leisure.

  Sometimes* I wear the same clothes 2 or 3 days in a row during the week (especially now that we're in winter!)

  What capacity washing machine should I get? 5.5kg? (My preference is for a top-loader. Heard there were mould issues in front-loaders). Also, are the capacity measurements equal for top-loaders and front-loaders? ie. does a 7kg front-loader = a 7kg top-loader?

      I lied. It's more like 4-5 days :-D.

      Anyway, thanks for the insight - will start looking for 7kg models.

  Thanks! Just bought one using this deal! I bought it from The Good Guys, but first considered buying from homeonlinesuperstore instead, as they don't charge postage if you can pick it up yourself. I decided against it as dealing with a better known store will hopefully be easier if there are any issues with the purchase.

  I emailed them yesterday and they replied immediately saying I could pick up for free from Summer Hill (NSW 2130). If anybody's close Summer Hill and has a vehicle large enough to transport the washing machine (and the strength to lift it!) it'll save you $25.59.

    I received a call about an hour and a half after ordering which was impressive, and they're delivering it tomorrow. They tried to sell me an extended warranty etc, which I of course declined.
