Agree. Just tried a few different dates in June, July and August, the discount you get varied from less than 10% up to 30%. Honestly with the crappy snow coverage at the moment, people are not going to rush in to buy short-term lift tickets until later in the season, if we do receive better snow fall.
Oh really? I have been checking out the snow cam, there seems to be lots of snow the past few days. Should I hold it off from this 72 hours sale? But then wouldn't the price go up later if I waited?
They cleverly position the snow cams ;) I'm heading to NZ in August instead can't wait snows unreal there.
All those black dots you're seeing on the Perisher snow cams are big rocks and bushes usually covered by 2 metres of snow.
40% off snow
Haha, I see what you did there.
At least you have some snow, Mt Buller in Victoria has a few pathetic spots of man-made around the base of the snowguns, apart from that nada, zilch, nothing! 3 weeks until the annual school holiday trip to the lodge and at this rate I'll be spending a fortune to sit in the lodge and read the paper. I wont be wasting $$ on lift tickets to join 100's of others shoulder to shoulder on the one small patch of man-made snow!
Better off taking a mountain bike with you at the moment!!!
I would buy if they were like 95% off and just take my mountain bike instead
Edit: snow covers not that bad, just jump over the grassy bits…
I wouldn't go this weekend even if they were free lol
FYI, the Flexipass early bird deal ($299 for 3 days anytime during season) ends today. Also if you add "FLEXI20" you get $20 perisher money loaded on your card.
We wanted to take the kids up before the holidays… Had a look last week and I think you'd struggle to even have a snowball fight at any of the Vic resorts at the moment!
Perisher's attempt at sale because no one is buying lift passes due to crappy cover in June.
