BLACK MARKET DEAL Dessert Wine 2010 $7.50/ $90 12 Pk + $9 Del Vinomofo

30

I like all dessert wines so going to try it. At $7.50 a bottle (the usual 375ml size) it is, again, a good price for the style of wine.

Now to see about figuring out which one it is!

Listed as:

South Australia

    • Looks like the one, but alcohol content listed as 9.2% on the official website.

    • That's the one I first looked at but not 100% sure as the "tastes like" doesn't match up.

      Also:

      CELLARING
      2016

      &

      CELLARING
      2015

      • its a year older so it might not be as "lively" as it was…

        • They're both the same year?

Ah, I see what you mean. A year since first listed???

        • well, the "tastes like" are all consistent, just two are missing…likely they deleted them to make it (slightly) less obvious.

        • Possibly

    • pretty lazy cut and paste job… if they are trying to obscure things more.
      full details match with this

If it is the Geoff Hardy, going for $150/case at Cracka, so quite a good deal @ $90. https://www.crackawines.com.au/Geoff_Hardy/2010_Hand_Crafted…

    • LOL, I think they need to proof read…….."The conditions that followed were near perfect when wet conditions were followed by dray datys."

    • Alcohol: 9.2 % alc/vol
      Total acidity: 8.55 g/L
      pH: 3.29
      Residual sugar: 208 g/L

      That's exactly the same details!

      Purchased!

      • Confirming receipt of the expected case.

  • It's definately not Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy 'Noble Intent' Botrytis 2010

    This one is a Riesling.

  • Anyone know what the black market Shiraz is today?

  • Arrived this morning, tasted tonight. Result……….IT'S TOO NICE!

  • This one is still available but you need to contact them for it.
