Effortlessly clean floors

With three operation modes suitable for different room sizes and intelligent space detection technology, this little robot is an expert at picking up dirt and dust. Go about your day to day jobs as your robot glides quietly across the floor.

His rubber bumper ensures that valuable furniture is not scratched, while a sensor prevents him from falling down the stairs. He will easily work his way around the house, keeping all your floors beautifully clean!

Smart self-charging

If you need to head out, don’t worry about coming home to dirty floors. When the robot is running low on battery, he will take himself back to the base station and charge himself up, then head back out to get the job done!

Remote control for directed cleaning

Leave your robot roaming or direct him to a certain part of the house with the remote control. He’ll clean wherever you tell him to go!

Suitable for all floor types

Nowhere is too tricky — whether you have wooden floors, tiles or short carpet, the robot can clean it all!

$9.99 delivery. Looks similar to the cheapo at Godfrey's at the same price.

I literally just replaced that godfrey's one with the aldi one.

The godfrey's ones battery lasted about 6 months and now it's cactus. Doesn't hold enough charge to run for more than 10 minutes.

In direct comparison to each other, the godfreys one is much louder. It moves around much faster and finishes cleaning a room faster, however the job isn't as thorough as the Aldi one (misses more spots/doesn't pick up as much fine dust). No matter what setting you put it on the godfrey's one seems to just cruises around at random. So far I'm still pretty confused on just how to use the Aldi one and the auto function seems to result in it mostly cleaning around the living area and not going down hallways/into rooms.

The aldi one also has a larger dust catcher and a better dust filter system. The clean up is much easier for it too.

We were quite pleased with the godfrey's one initially but if the battery can't even last a year what's the point in getting one. At least the aldi one has a 3 year warranty for the unit, and going by the sticker on it, the battery has a 2 year warranty.

Oh, and neither unit can be left unattended if you have mats or other objects <1cm high it could get trapped on. The aldi one is probably worse in this area as it tries to go 4 wheel driving over everything in the room.

All in all, I'd say the Aldi one is much better for cleaning in general, and the added features of remote, docking station with automatic charging, virtual wall and the little mop pad are nice extras. Plus you could probably manage to watch tv/play games and tolerate it being on, where as the godfrey's one is far too loud and annoying.

    Robots are masculine, are they?

  • is it better than the once from Aldi?

    • The Aldi ones looks like it has more features..but at $169, I am thinking of refunding the Aldi ones and getting these..

I would return the one from Aldi and buy one that does a decent job.. Not this..

      • what's wrong with Aldi one?

Dodgy! This probably has a million and one conditions just like their heart rate monitor watch does. Check out The Checkout skit on the watch!

  • How is this one compared to Neato XV-21 for $330ish

    • Cannot compare. This is a glorified sweeper.

  • i bought one of these two years ago. when it works, it actually does suck up quiet a bit of dust (i can see when i empty the bin). however, its major flaw is its software is very "stupid", it keeps getting stuck in situations you wouldn't think a robot would get itself into. i'd say for $99, its still a waste of money.
