If you try and buy 4 it gives you an error about buyer requirements (which in my case were incorrect). 2 was fine though. But sold out during payment! It's GONE.

Agreed. It was well covered by the media. All major newspapers, nightly news, etc.
eBay even sent out an "Important - eBay Password Reset Required" email to their entire userbase worldwide.
Security is serious business. Bargains will be missed out on if it is ignored :D
I remember ebay recommending I change my password a few weeks back, and I did. But at the time it was only a recommendation and not requirement.

True, but if it's something you don't need at all, only AusPost is benefited, your one dollar was spent anyway.
I would have kept it as a spare.
Package arrived today (Star Track Express no less), but the mouse I received was the wrong type (a very old laser mouse) and I didn't receive the two I ordered. Can't complain for $2 I guess!
I just checked the tracking for mine and it says it was apparently delivered yesterday :O

I got the right one.
It came in a plain box with the model number written on the back in small print so I can see how mistakes could happen when the orders are picked.

Just a quick update:
Dell has offered to send out another mouse. The one I received is apparently the correct model (according to head office), but it looks nothing like the picture in the listing. The dell customer service staff on eBay want to investigate for me, but I'm not really bothered (I bought one as an emergency backup anyway).
