Went to Bunnings Keysborough (Vic) to buy the Dual Saw "Destroyer" (thanks Scottb721: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/148074) and found they had the "Professional CS 650s" under the shelf tag for the Destroyer. It rang up as $49 - who am I to correct their mistake. The Professional supposedly has: Premium Motor - Better efficiency and more robust construction for a longer lasting motor. Internal Components - Quality built, durable gears and bearings add to the longer life and better performance of the Professional Series.
Quieter Motor – A premium motor means a quieter tool. The decibel level of the Professional series
is lower than it’s DIY version.

The invoice states it is for the Destroyer model - sorry.
we buy this = the professionals buy the Professionals
Same price at my local Bunnings, near Liverpool.
is this any good to cut wood such as solid pine, hardwood, timber/for decking?
I would think there are better tools. To cut decking you want narrow kerf and clean edge, and ability to cut square. I would think a normal saw would be better.
Brought mine yesterday, just went to check and is the professional model also, maybe that is the only model?
Bunnings Oxley have them at the front door.(probably in anticipation of getting Ozbargained) they also have the destroyer (non professional) but it appears to be a dual saw reciprocating type also $49
Are the masonry blades available (cheaply)? Just wondering if this would be ok for a few small chases..
No Stock in SA: Mt Barker, Mile End, Marion or Prospect. I gave up after that.
We need a photo of the price tag or a scan of the invoice for pricematch
