This give you pretty much the full membership and access to many other NRMA member discounts. 4 free callouts p/a. Worth about $90.60 p/a.
Here is the kicker, you do not need to nominate a Vehicle to receive Roadside Assistance. They will cover you for any car you are travelling in! (except taxies etc). You do not even need to own a car to join.
You can become a Member if You:
• are an individual who is a permanent resident or citizen of the Commonwealth of Australia and you reside in New South Wales or the ACT;
• are aged between 16 and 20 as at the date you apply to join the Program;
• do not hold an existing and active NRMA membership; and
What You Get
• Personal Roadside Assistance for 12 months if you're 17-20 years old at time of sign-up. If you're 16 years old at time of sign-up you get personal Roadside Assistance for 24 months! As long as you're a Free2go Member, regardless of what vehicle you are in, or whether you're a driver or passenger, NRMA will be there to help get you on the road again.
• Four roadside assistance callouts per year^.
• 8km of free towing in Sydney, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, Illawarra and ACT. Free towing in country areas back to the town of the NRMA country service centre that attends to your breakdown.
