it's not a crap notebook. it's a standard netbook.
it's not the cheapest 10 inch netbook though and may not warrant an ozbargain listing… the screen is only 1024x576 and not 1024x600do you own one? or know anyone who does ? i do on both counts this is my opinion.
This is not a standard netbook designed for the education market as a giveaway to students note the e "s10e"
As far as a netbooks go it is very bog standard, 529 with shipping is still a bargain. A 2Gb DDR2 module to suit this model is only $30 at MSY (takes it up to 2Gb not 2.5). You sound a bit jaded because you purchased the wrong thing. It is a netbook purely a mobile platform, low power, low resolution. It is not a Notebook replacement most people would be better off with a $600 Celeron powered 14.1 - 15.1 Acer/Compaq, but I have a netbook for traveling because its small light, a storage tank for my Pictures, booking hotels, email ect. I hardly ever use it at home.
no i am jaded because i own one :) i have many laptops inc celerons and wouldnt receommend it for anyone why bother with celeron
thanks
got mine for 499 btw runs fine with xp as is or up it to 2gb for win 7bet your netbook isnt this model
still its okay but there is much better notebooks for the price this is no way a bargain when you can buy the msi or eepc for simalar coin
This is no deal there is no extra 2gb ram this is a carp notebook anyway
