Same as previous deals https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/126018 , http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/123081 & http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/121123 only cheapest US$389.99.

This is the lowest price ever on Amazon.

Even though it's a TV, it does not support the Australia DVB-T system.
Seiki were supposed to be coming to Australia sometime this year, so will likely be a DVB-T version then.

People in Australia buy this now as it is a cheap Ultra High resolution monitor, as it supports 3840 X 2160 pixels.

Specs:
3840 x 2160 Panel Resolution, 4K up scaling, Thin Bezel

Aspect Ratio: 16:9, Refresh Rate: 120Hz, Component & HDMI Support: 480I, 576I, 480P, 576P, 720P, 1080I, 1080P, 4k2k 30Hz (only HDMI)

Video Connections: 1 Analog & Digital TV Tuner, 1 Component Video Input, Component Video (Y, Cb, Cr/Y, Pb, Pr): One VGA Input (15 pin, D-Sub)

Audio Connections: 1 Stereo Mini Phono Jack Input (3.5 mm) (VGA Audio), 1 RCA Input (R & L), 1 Headphone: Stereo Mini (3.5 mm), 1 RCA Output (R & L)

3 HDMI Input, 2 USB Input (JPEG Pics and MP3 Audio Only)

My set came with a HDMI 1.4 cable, but there is no mention of this on the site.

  • Looks like they have just killed shipping to Australia again, so I have marked it as expired.

Price still valid if you want to ship via a forwarder though.

  • That was quick expired within a few minutes of posting.

    • Yep, I did a test order which showed shipping.

Then posted the deal, and tested again and said no shipping to the same address.

  • Seiki SE39UY04 39-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz LED TV cannot be shipped to the selected address.

Just like last time, Amazon won't ship this to Australia.

    • Only way to get around that is to use a US shipping forwarder such as Shipito, ReShip etc

    • Not sure why you say this, using one now bought from Amazon.

When did they stop shipping to Australia? Lots of people bought this a few months ago with no problems.

      • @petestrash

No doubt you bought yours in December (or earlier) when Amazon was still willing to ship this to Australia. When the deal in January came around shipping was no longer available to Australia nor has it been since.

Been tracking this on camelcamelcamel hoping there would be some change, but so far nothing.

        @videoman

I'm not sure exactly when they stopped, but it was sometime after the December deal and before the January deal.

  • is there any point in buying a 4k tv for australian tv at the moment?

    • Nope. No content.

    • +2

There is no point in buying this for TV at all. It is really only useful as a monitor.

  • Just a question. Is this TV 110v only or is it universal power?. No good buying a TV that can only take a 110v power.

US plug and rated 100-240v. Works fine here

  • This TV model has issues and is poor quality build according to this review on youtube

    • For $400 I would imagine so.

I have been using this as a desktop monitor for few months now without any issues

  • Are Seiki definitely coming to Australia?

I heard the same thing about Vizio a while back but nothing happened..

    • From memory it was mentioned on their Facebook page last year, have not seen anything since.

  • Finally wona get it. But now they don't ship. Bs.

  • Dammit the 50inch is now down to $449 US:

If only there was a cost effective way to ship it here!~Grrrrrrrrr

    • Yep damn shame. Amazon has never shipped it themselves.
