This Fri and Sat the 1 bedroom ocean view (min 2 nights) is the same as the 2 bed ocean view (min 2 nights); add a child and 2 bedroom is cheaper! I think they forgot to price gouge the 2 bedroom.
Poor bugger… I live here and don't like Q1! Can think of many better hotels on the coast.
Somewhat offtopic but related. Word of warning for anyone thinking of dining on the ground floor of Q1 at Absynthe, please check the reviews first on Urban Spoon or Trip adviser. If you do go be careful with ordering water as they seemed to take me for a bit of a ride when I went there. Served my wife and I sparkling water and kept topping up our glasses without asking, ended up with $32 bill for water at the end of the night for probably 2 glasses of water each which I refused to pay (and its not just me that has been stung with that particular trick if you read some of the reviews).
Food was ok but not worth the asking price in my opinion (I was using a discount voucher), very small portions. You may have a different experience to me but just thought I would mention it.
