Check out the G602 if you like the look of this. I just replaced my 700 with a 602 and I like it much better. They're cheaper too.
What's the scrolling like on it?
i currently have a G700s but's it's very heavy and as you said the 602 is very cheap lol.The 602 doesn't have a free-scroll but the notched scroll is very light.
Plus no side scrolling on the 602, not that I miss that.
The main thing I like better on the 602 is the button feel and positions, and the battery life. If you want a cordless mouse, be prepared to be charging/changing the battery every couple of days with the 700. I got so sick of that I gave up and ran it corded. The 602's batteries are supposed to last months.The problem with my G700s is that i've got to recharge the battery about every 2 days if i do some gaming and it's sad when the battery suddenly runs out in the middle of BF4 gaming and get wiped out :(
And also in my opinion i reckon the recharge cable is too thick makes gaming harder when it's plugged in.
This is running off a 2500mah battery.
Keep a battery charger full of Eneloops plugged in. And just swap out the batteries when you need them.
That's what I used to do with my G700.
Now there's an idea. Didn't think of that. That would go well with the current Eneloop AA tropical rechargable NIMH 8 battery pack $19.99 from Dick Smith.
This and G700 are my Diablo 3 mouse, using all buttons.
