What would be the real value of this sofa? It's hard to believe discount percentages from the stores here looking at the price they start with.
If a couch is $4000 and they sell it for half price ($2000), you can bet your bottom dollar that they are still making at least $500 off each piece. They are, after all business and not a charity. Plus not many places sell sofas/couches with a 10 year warranty like Plush do.
I am actively looking for a big set these days. I have a Freedom Furniture one which came with 10 yr warranty. It's really comfortable and very sturdy. It'll last for a life time. However kids have destroyed the fabric in couple years time. No one makes kids proof furniture. An upholstery place asked for $2700 to re-do the fabric.
I found a very good looking leather set for $4600 on sale and wife wants to buy that. It looks really nice and a big set similar to the one I already have now. That's from Sortino. Australian made. However the warranty is 5 years not 10.sounds like you need a Kombi Van
this is ozbargain, I don't see how anyone on here can justify spending more then $900 on a couch :P
