Imation 10pk DVD+Rs in DVD cases - $2.88; Base 100pk CD-R spindle - $7.88

160

I was Targeting around at lunchtime and bumped across these cheap DVDs and CDs. The DVDs are great for the DVD cases. The CDs - well, a 100 of them for less than $8 (less than 4c a pop), you really can't go wrong. Needless to say, these are clearance lines and may not be available at all Target stores.

  • you can't go wrong for the price, but don't burn valuable data (photos, etc) on them without another backup somewhere else.

    Imation aren't very good.

  • I have found imation DVD's really crap… about 25% of them failed…

  • For temporary storage imation are fine. Anyone having trouble burning or reading discs should invest $30 in a new burner and then see the difference. Readers don't last forever and they die slowly.

I would prefer to burn a 30 cent disc than take a $10 or $20 pen drive to someone's place and come back with a virus in the .inf file.

    • They are also fine as coffee mug coasters…

  • none at Bvale Warringah Mall

  • I'm surprised to hear people saying Imation are so bad, i thought they were a pretty good brand. Never actually used them myself, Verbatim are usually the cheapest of the name brands.
I will go and buy some of these if they have them at my local Target.

In the photo you took, the price sticker has 7GB on it, what does this mean? That doesn't equate to dual layer, or single layer DVD.

    • Its meant to say 16x 4.7G if they used the spaces

…..and for someone who's into them black dvd cases, this is a great deal.
