  • I'll go for a look soon.

    • I would say, go tomorrow or Sunday, they won't have anything pretty much after then.

      • Ahhh dammit don't think I'll have time :(

I wish it was LV which is on sale…

    • +4

      they never go on sale…

    • LOL. Same. However, I'm sure the wife will look at this deal very keenly!

I found LV to be cheapest in (surprise, surprise) France. After claiming VAT on the way out it became even better. This was last year when the AUD was stronger. Haven't done the maths recently.

      • Euro prices are pretty much all same. I think I had same prices in France compared to Germany.
Actually thinking about it, I think Germany gave me more VAT back so it ended up being cheaper in Germany.

Are Gucci made in China or Italy now?

    • -3

I'd like to know too as I don't touch anything that is made in China these days…

      • -1

What's with the negs? I too wouldn't touch a 1k+ bag if it was made in China.

They have low wages for a reason.

        • the wages there are not as low as you would think now…

90% of goods in your home are made in China :-( Live with it

        • Not in MY house! Over 90% of stuffs in MY house are NOT made in China (mostly are Made in Australia)… We don't have to live with it. Just pay a fair price for quality stuffs that you NEED!

        • China is great for cheap, lowish quality goods like standard cutlery, plastic items, basic clothing, tooth brushes… But if you are after luxuxy goods, avoid Made in China. I am sure they still have online stores selling knockoffs of luxury brands though, illeagl but a viable alternative for poor people with posh tastes.

Still Made in Italy (for now)

      • and how many Chinese are working in the Italian factory

  • not seeing any discount online. how to tell sale?
edit; my bad, sale heading in the menu. i was just clicking mens.

  • Got some sunnies in Brisbane city, last pair. Thanks OP

  • Plenty for the ladies, but hardly anything for the guys… Either way still a thumbs up

  • Any wallets for women left in Melbourne?

  • "Not as ‘hot’ as it used to be… (unless you are Cristiano Ronaldo)"
sorry I don't quite get this part?

    • +1

Ronaldo offers Gucci free advertisement by parading Gucci products everywhere he goes :)

    • Imo, gucci struggles in brand value nowadays after tom ford left so not as 'hot'. C. Ronaldo wears everything in gucci incl. his car seat in gucci monogram.

      • Thanks for the explanation guys. :D

    Wow…42 likes and counting….buying Gucci..I just knew that ozbargainers are loaded… :)
