STA QANTAS Christmas Sale Fares SYD-LAX $1561 (Maybe Other Cities)

Been comparing flights to LAX from SYD and BNE for about 3 months on STATravel, KAYAK, ORBITZ and Priceline but this is the best price for flights in Dec/ Jan that I have found. The fact that it is with QANTAS (some flights on the A380) is the cherry on top. It is not limited to students, tried with adult fares and they are able to access it as well. Additionally you can lay-by the flights for $150 and will only need to pay the balance in Oct/ Nov.

Previously the best price I had found for similar dates and times was with Virgin Airways for $1783.
