Try blocking the application .exe's in the installation directory via Windows Firewall Outbound Rules (or your 3rd-party firewall of choice); that tends to stop a lot of nagware from phoning home and doing drive-by popups.

Just be aware, all the 'free' versions of Ashampoo software are full of nagware…
