  • TV prices are still ridiculous even with the 20% off

EDIT - though I guess the Panasonic VT60 plasma 65" at $3199 is decent.

    • Yeah that's a good price although if you do a search on this site, some people have reported snagging one from JB for $2900 with a bit of haggling.

    • Early signs indeed.

  • Myer are losing my interest. I was sent a paper $10 voucher this year for my birthday instead of the usual $10 gift card. The paper voucher has so many exclusions that I have no idea what I can even purchase with it. It also expires much sooner than the gift cards that I've received in the past.

The sales today were ok. The mens wear was decent, women's fashion not so much. I got a whopping 10% off a winter coat, paid full price for a pair of jeans and got 50% off a jumper that I'm pretty sure was priced to sell at a 50% sale because there is not a chance I'd even have looked at it at full price and it was hardly a designer label or expensive fabric.

I struggle to find clothes that fit and there are a few brands in Myer that I can rely on. I recently moved to a much colder climate so pretty much had to purchase winter clothes this weekend or spend another week freezing. If I wasn't in that boat, I would have skipped these sales.
