I recently got a set of 4-piece for $150 (RRP $199) from HarveyNorman, best non-stick cookwares ever, if divided by 4 = $50 per piece (even the lid would cost the same amount), this is such a good price for a frypan and lid ;)

I got one of these things as a gift - They are crap, don't waste your money, folks.
Thanks for the warning guys.
Any idea if the Stoneline pans are any better?the reason people say they are craps simply because they did not follow the instructions carefully before using them, I (profanity) one up (Stoneline) because I didn't heat it with moderate heat and a bit of oil for first time using, now I have no problem at all with the FlavorStone or Stoneline (a replacement one)
Get yourself some solid seasoned cast iron pans … i bought myself a set (6", 10" & 12" skillets) of Lodge logic pans over a year ago and they are the best thing ive used by far (although very heavy at the 12 inch size) and they will still be going strong in 40yrs time

Really? A lot of people seem to complain that they suck after a few months. A lot of infomercial products seem to be OK for a few months and then just deteriorate in quality.
well, wait for few months and if it happens to me, I refund ;), up till now, all good ^_^
I bought WOLL and love it!

I am using them. Just happy. Not too happy. You should wait to get them around $50 each delivered. Do not fall for cheap sets though, as they can be "fake" - better buy them from reputable outlets (including online). I had a "fake" set too and very angry.
The real ones got their colour faded after months of use and would look ugly but still cooking good.
I also got some Vue pans from Myer (was on sale at $40 each, down from $110 or so). Very happy with them, but have not tried them without oil.
I LOVE my flavourstone!!!
It's exactly like on TV, and I've had it for almost 12 months.
Bought it at Harris Scarfe.I bet half the people whinging on 'product review' gave poor reviews after putting too much heat through it.
Discolouration and losing its non stick surface screams overheating to me.Use it as per instructions and you wont have an issue. By far best frypan I've ever owned.
but the issue of overheating is pretty stupid though no? its like saying something is unbreakable as long as you dont use it.
Totally agree. Same issue with Tefal. They even have a lecture on their website about how you don't ever "need" to cook using high heat, medium heat is fine for everything. Rubbish, some cooking techniques require searing at high heat. Why make a product that just isn't fit for purpose?
WOLL non-stick frypans you can heat up to 350 degrees.
And they are about two times heavier than FlavorStone, which means they retain heat much better.
And they have removable handles.
Its a good price for a reason, Use them a bit longer and your see why.
