        FYI: There are 2 meanings for the word "priceless" in Oxford Dictionary.
        1. So precious that its value cannot be determined;
        2. (informal) very amusing

        None of them carries the meaning of "free".

    Was just about to say the same! It's an incredible album, and helped shape the careers of many other artists in both song writing, music and recording methods. It's a landmark album particularly due to Brian Wilson's interpretation of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound".

    Sorry, this is one of the only things I remember from doing a History of Rock and Roll subject as an elective at uni.
