Possible cash back. Purchase printer with HP 564 Photo value pack to receive $40 VISA card via Redemption http://h41201.www4.hp.com/AdLanding/au/en/6395/?jumpid=va_r2…

Both items have to be on the same invoice though

    • Great. Unfortunately, HP 564 Photo value pack not available online. Good to price match with HN or with an another retailer.

      • Yeah it's showed online but says only available in store unfortunately.

  • Ahhhh crap i just bought a Photosmart 5520 for $62 ($5 discount voucher was $67 online price) from HN the other day. Oh well never mind.

Although the Photsmart 6520 doesn't look like it's such a massive increase over the 5520. Same kind of specs apart from having more memory and but using the same ink cartridges. One sort of thing different is the paper tray. Good buy though.

  • Great score if you can click & collect, and get cashback. I tried to click and collect for the Tweed Heads store, no luck. Which store has this in stock for click and collect? Also how many ink cartridges do you need to purchase to get the cash back? Sorry if I sound lazy, but did have a quick read online already.

Visa card redemption is for the HP 564 ink cartridge photo value pack bought with this printer.

Also says in the giveaway terms and conditions that they must be bought together on the same invoice. Since it's not available on Big W online you're out of luck there. You can't buy this printer from Big W online and then go in store and buy it since it would be on separate invoices. You could try price match other retailers for the printer.

      • Thanks for the prompt reply. Cheers

  • Was only just looking at this printer the other day. Had to decide between this one and the HP Envy 4500, went with the Envy because I just find it easier to manage the one tricolour cartridge instead of having the separate colour ink cartridges as this one does (I use the colours fairly evenly so haven't really had any issues with waste, but some might).

However at this price, still worth a try. Printers are so cheap these days, they're making the money off the cartridges so at $67 for the printer still worth a go.

  • USB/wifi printers are the work of the devil for networking. I have so many problems with one at home (not this model but a wifi hp printer) because every now and again they refuse to accept the IP address assigned to them and default to their own which is invariably assigned to something else.

If connecting to a single pc, no problems, if to a small network be careful. For my small home network, where I assign IP addresses, I will only go for printers with a dedicated network port.

    • So far i'm having no issues with the wifi on my HP Photosmart 5520 printer. It's connected through a Buffalo AirStation Wireless N router. The Photosmart 6520 printer should work just as well.

      • I too have a HP Photosmart 5520 bought from TGG for $48. (used a $20 e-giftcard from the DDR3 ram deal)

Wifi is working fine. On your router, reserve the static IP addr you set on the printer & it shouldn't try to assign one already in use by another device on your network. I'm thinking your printer is still left on DHCP…

Also be aware that these units use 'N' wifi standard so if you have a faster AC network it will slow the whole LAN down to N speeds.

  • I this a good printer HP Photosmart 6520 All-in-One Printer?did you guys say you can get a price match?where and how does that work as im sure i tried hn online once before and they told me i need to buy the item full price and then i get the difference??
Im on the look out for a printer is this a good one for the money or is there better around for same price and what about ink are they expensive,i do like the wifi option that is why i like this one

  • Original ink cartridges seem pricey. Does anyone know where to get good cartridges that can be refilled? I bought a few off ebay but the foam in the refillable ink cartridges allow the refilled ink to drain within a few minutes of installation in this printer.

  • postage is $18.00 to sydney metro, and get this if you had 2 printers postage is $36.00. how can this be????lucky i was able to do click and collect.

    • Because they have to send 2 printers?

HOW ABOUT purchase both the printer and the ink from BIG W…pay…go outside…take a pic of receipt…come back inside and tell them ur dad/brother/wife/husband just told you they have bought the ink and return it….send receipt…get $50 cashback FINAL AMOUNT PAID FOR PRINTER $17

    urs truly,
    ahly92 ;)

    • How do you go outside and come back into a store when this is an online only deal. And you can't order that HP photo value pack on the Big W web site either. So you couldn't get both the printer and the photo value pack on the same invoice to begin with. Geez.

  • Possible to get Officeworks/HN price match with cartridge then claim the $40 Visa card?
