    Bloody cheap wine!

Bloody annoying marketers, though. Had my dinner interrupted by a phone call from them last night. Very poor form.

      • +1

not me, i don't answer my phone at dinner

True. I get so few spam calls on the land-line and virtually none on the mobile what with the DNC register, it caught me off-guard.

Anyway, lesson learned, and it's not like they're the only place flogging cut-price Chateau Collapseau. :-)

I private messaged them on facebook explaining that I like their wine, not their phone calls and they took me off the calling list with no hassles. Haven't received a call since.

    • cheap quality or cheap price? :)

      • 2011 Barossa due to 4x usual rainfallis could possibly be unstructured & watery

  • Nebbiolo is likely the Grove Estate Sommita. Previously sold by Vinomofo, Halliday points match & not many people doing Nebbiolo in the Hilltops.

    rose link broken.

again no research undertaken.. how do we know if it is a deal or not?

    • +3

But if you stop to research , someone will post this first then no referrals for you.

I suspect the Rose is Rogers & Rufus Barossa Rosé 2012 - the Vinomofo link below shows same stats for the wine (Location, % alcohol, grape etc) as the black market page

    http://vinomofo.com/wines/red-wine/rogers-rufus-rose-2012-fc…

    Tyson Stelzer says here https://www.crackawines.com.au/Rogers_Rufus/2012_Rogers_Rufu…

This is serious rosé, early picked from Barossa Valley grenache vines of 40-50 years of age and half fermented in old oak barrels. Quality fruit sourcing infuses aromas and flavours of rose petal, watermelon and pink pepper, while barrel work contributes subtle savoury spice and a texture akin to ice cream cone.
