it is, an at least in tasmania has been running for a while now, get handed out with the happy meal. :)
I don't think it is, I saw it posted in my local McDonald's earlier tonight. I assume it's nationwide but I'm not sure.
By the way they give you a voucher for the free small coffee when you purchase the happy meal.
happy meal and a free coffee just doesn't seem to match for me
the happy meal is for the child and the coffee is for the parent.
How will you enforce this?
I agree, found it Ill thought out
This sounds like an interesting idea. I don't drink coffee so I'm wondering if they will substitute for something else.
you can choose a small hot chocolate or chai.
Hot chocolate sounds good. Thank you.
no worries! it seems like its the perfect weather for hot chocolates in melbourne at the moment!
to persons over 14 years old.
So you need to show ID?
You might, jv.
probably not in Minto
14 y.o mums aint no thang
So hang on, if you choose hot chocolate, you dont need to be over 14?
probably not, but I doubt many children under 14 would be wanting a coffee anyway when they could get a free medium soft drink instead with the student edge card.
REP - That was nice how you casually dropped the FREE soft drink card
Our "cheapskate at any cost" friends here will be in a frenzy sending their srudent children to get their sugar fix gratis!!! (that's free in german, ja vol?)
The parent drinks the coffee while watching the kid having their daily allowance of fat, sugar and salt
When did it start? I bought a Happy Meal on Thursday and wasn't told this.
Happy Meal, Happy Kids, Happy Mum, Unhappy Dad
Bought 2 happy meals the other day and asked about the cards, the server was unsure but went and asked, and then handed us 2. After we opened the meals there were another 2 attached inside the boxes :)
That's a good cheap meal. How much is a happy meal these days?
Around $4.95.
Around $6.95 if you get it with nuggets…
the choices for happy meals are:
cheeseburger, hamburger, 3 nuggets, crispy/grilled snackwrap, 5 mcbites for $4.45
6 nuggets, 10 mcbites for $6.65 (? - cannot remember exactly off the top of my head)I guess these prices may differ slightly but those are the prices at my restaurant :)
I thought it was an impressive deal until my 3 year old started bouncing off the walls. Next time I'll keep the coffee voucher for myself.
What sort of parent gives caffeine to a child? Shame on you! I'm reporting you to the cancer council, DOCS and the human rights commission! ;) hehe
I know this sounds weird, is this a coupon?
