[Hack] Unlimited Free Phone Pickup Burger with Coupon (Relish Membership & 7 Prior Burger Purchases Required) @ Grill’d

3100

Hey everyone,

Stumbled upon a free burger glitch… thing you need.

  1. A relish account
  2. Free burger coupon (accrued purchases to that account)
  3. A service staff kind enough to offer take-away (bless them)

For whatever reason if you opt for TAKE-AWAY the coupon doesn’t expire.

Partner this with the chip pass and you’re getting a very cheap meal.
I don’t want to disclose how many burgers I’ve had, but it’s been a good run.
In the final leg, the service staff did not offer take-away and apologised that its dine in only. So ethically I thought now is a good time to let the coupon go and share it to the internet.

Haha some members going to whinge about this being posted.

    Username checks out.

    • +2

It would’ve been patched soon enough anyway. Most fast food operations collect a sea of stats on their customers and anomalies like this get noticed in time. At least the OP was ethical enough to recognise when to pull the plug.

      • +20

Being contained by your circumstances or by someone else hardly makes one ethical. "I stopped getting my thrills punching people when they started punching back - I'm ethical."

        • +1

True. But I see no harm in giving positive reinforcement when someone does the right thing.

      • Didnt he say, he posted this AFTER he had to use the coupon for dine in?

  • +56

damn i been using this hack for weeks at Blacktown grilld
I wasn't going to leak it.
i guess no free lunch tomorrow

    • +3

I didn't know about this trick. So you need at first make enough purchases to accrue the free burger coupon, and then once you have that, you ask for take away?

      • +11

Yes i think you buy 8 or 10 burgers, and you get enough relish points to claim for a burger.
this has been an exploit for probably the last month and a half for me.

the girls at work even said "You're going to go broke getting grilld each day"

        • 7 burger purchases should unlock you the 8th Coupon which it's the free Burger. Did you scan your relish account when you redeemed the free burger? I think you shouldn't because it would start the cycle of Coupons to Step 1.
I did try that in the past, but I never had success. It must be a newish glitch.

          • +4

@Scrooge McDeal: yeah, you scan the barcode, and you order the Summer Sunset and ask for takeaway. somehow it goes through and I get my burger and I walk back to work.
then force close the app and reopen the next day with the same amount of relish points
            rinse and repeat

            • @Wiadro: I always got my free burger coupons for take away. It's been a while since I had one, so it must be relevantly new hack.

              • +1

@Scrooge McDeal: yeah i only been going grilld for 2 months coz new job location, otherwise I wouldn't bother with grilld

                • +2

@Wiadro: Don't the staff recognise you and wonder how you have a free burger coupon every day?

                  • +5

@Kvothe: i don't go every day, i alternate the days (like one week mon and weds, next week tues and thurs) i walk past and see whos in there

    • +2

Hmm it was my first time redeeming my free (through accrued purchase) burger about a fortnight ago- the cashier couldn't process it (I did ask for takeaway, without knowing this hack) and his manager then said had to be processed as dine in only. I was served as dine-in but given a takeaway box for takeaway and the voucher disappeared next day.

      • they must promo the ones I've been getting, however none of mine show up in my apps order history tab

  • +33

What twit would leak this. They will fix it and it will disappear.

We need a forum with a Ozbargain Premium 🔐 lock code for these kind of hacks. I really appreciate people sharing these. But companies find out about them and fix them.

Yeah but how many of you conveniently have a free burger accrued

    • +4

Despite the upvotes I'm willing to bet the sample size is very small, firstly no ozbargainer will frequent grill'd enough to get that free burger coupon… Secondly no one now is going to go buy 8 burgers just to take advantage of it knowing it's going to get patched any time now after this post. The ones who have the burger coupon have probably been exploiting it for a while already.

That's a doozy start to a bargaining career

  • How many burgers do you have to buy to get the coupon?

  • -4

wonder if someone will send an email to grilled “ give me free burgers for a year and i will let you know of a bug in your app” …. some companies have “bug bounties” report a bug and you get money …..

At the risk of being negged… is this technically a 5 finger discount? 🫢

    • I think that if they make a mistake or have a computer problem and don’t take your coupon then it’s not your fault.

    • No. It's a 7 burger discount.

  • weird system - why would opting for takeaway leave the voucher in the system?!

    • +1

because it wasn’t designed for takeaway so program doesn’t complete .

  • +15

Hahaha these comments are absolute chaos! I LOVE IT!!! throws chair

  • No more free burgers for you tomorrow when they patch it

  • ok understood now DELETE PLEASE KIND SIR

  • I don't have the coupon but delete this for god's sake!!!

I don't eat grill'd because it's shit but that's such a scummy move sharing this for online clout.

  • -3

wow.. pretty rude leaking this. all youll achieve is it disappearing for those who figured it out.

  • wait, so people have been getting free burgers with an unlimited use "free burger coupon" for a month???

That would be around $500 based 1 burger a day?
