[Hack] Unlimited Free Phone Pickup Burger with Coupon (Relish Membership & 7 Prior Burger Purchases Required) @ Grill’d

3100

Hey everyone,

Stumbled upon a free burger glitch… thing you need.

  1. A relish account
  2. Free burger coupon (accrued purchases to that account)
  3. A service staff kind enough to offer take-away (bless them)

For whatever reason if you opt for TAKE-AWAY the coupon doesn’t expire.

Partner this with the chip pass and you’re getting a very cheap meal.
I don’t want to disclose how many burgers I’ve had, but it’s been a good run.
In the final leg, the service staff did not offer take-away and apologised that its dine in only. So ethically I thought now is a good time to let the coupon go and share it to the internet.

    Great first post!

A true hero for those in need, it was a good run while it lasted but I salute you OP for sharing the hack in true OzBargain spirit.

hah you're a madman for posting this. Legend!

  • +11

Wow I am surprised Ozbargainers actually make 7 purchases at Grill’d :)

    • +4

If anyone has made 7 purchases at grill'd they need to have their ozb membership revoked…

      • +3

Chip pass + Footy night 2 for 1 makes a decent deal…. right?

do i get to keep my membership? :(

        • Chip pass + the 15 wicked wings for lunch yesterday

        • +1

          You most certainly do 😀

    • I did make 8 orders (free chips) and got 2 points so far :)

    • I only ever get the 2 for 1 vege burger on Mondays and I was able to get a free burger

  • Did you do this at the same grilld each time? The staff didn’t recognise you and say no?

    • Just eat on the outdoor table if you don't want to sit indoors.

      • I can't dine-in (even if it's outside)

  • +2

    What a legendary first post

    • Guess who? I bet one of the early top commenters ;)

  • +2

I've always been told it has to be dine in at the Grill'd I've gone to so this would never work for me anyway

  • +5

Canberra Centre Grill'd have refused to allow me to use the coupon for take away for a while now…so I suppose it depends which store and/or staff member that actually takes your order. If I understand correctly the terms and conditions of the coupon are now dine in only, and their system doesn't allow it to be entered with take away. Sounds like a staff training/store issue more than a patching issue.

    • Same at my local, they stopped allowing takeaway for the 2-for-1 Mondays deals (veggo or footy) a few months ago already. Tried escalating it on the spot but was told it's not even an option on their machine now, courtesy of head office.

Haven't been back to Grill'd once since then, when I was going at least a few times a month before. Their loss I guess.

Okay, now have the masses attention, SOMEONE please find out who manufactures their gluten free buns. 🙏

    • +2

I like your sense of humor, upvoted. :)

Also, the GF buns are pretty good.

    • +2

Manufactured by Bakers Crust supplied by PFD

      • If this is for real, you can have my first born*

Come on man. Grilled does a good job. Don't exploit

  • +2

Reading the comments was a treat, hahaha.

  • They deserve this glitch given how some stores treat their customers when they claim their weekly footy b1g1f.

  • +1

17 reports haha, please share admins

  • Personally will never use it as I'm sworn off Grill'd by their prices - but this is definitely a great deal for those eligible; and has in turn provided enough replies to cover a months supply of salt completely free!

  • Thats what the internet is here for-

Everyone saying delete are against the idea of Ozbargain. Why shouldn't the community be able to enjoy a hack like this in the interim rather than selfishly keeping it to yourself. I for one would share this deal had I discovered it myself.

    • +2

Exactly. Ozbargain used to be a niche site and you could share this no problem. However, now the community is more mainstream it's probably the old guard upset and down voting. People have every right to share and shouldn't be down voted.

Just put through a take away order using the free burger offer in the app exactly as explained in the description of this post and the offer has disappeared…

    • +1

Sounds like they definitely did a take away on the deal lol

      • A service staff kind enough to offer take-away (bless them)

        not online or via app

  • I will try this on the weekend to see if its still live.
    I vote delete the post!

  • This sounds like fraud.

    • +1

The most popular OzB posts sometimes do, hence why I became a member. It wasn't for the spammy fake bargain Rep posts that's for sure. Where are all the members saying "Delete" when they get posted?

  • Relish isnt good value for me, although i still use it. I often buy for a family of 4, so 4 burgers at a time. I only get 1 relish purchase registered in the app.

If i bought the same 4 burgers separately i would get 4 relish purchases in the app.

    • +1

Time to say "let me order this one first, then will order when everyone else decides" and make 4 separate purchases.

      • Great advice but unfortunately I think EF is buying a family meal.

  • +9

I usually don’t like “exploits” being posted as deals. I would hate to think that some jr programmer’s about to cop an arse reaming over this from a corporation who has more than enough money to cover this just never sits well with me…

Anyway, I’m going to upvote it because of all the butt hurt “DeLeTe tHiS pOsT!!1!1” comments from mostly the people trying to abuse it and don’t want to many people to notice in the hope the glitch stays longer…

    Via la visibility!

[redacted] in WA I've visited a few times. Might be going bust. Every occasion I've been there it's dead quiet. Overheard someone saying they're in trouble..

Burgers are pricey and nothing special. Even the chips are avg. I used to eat HJs whoppers. If I can buy a beef patty from ColesWorth, cook on a pan of all things and make it better that's some seriously wrong shit the restaurants are doing here.

Easy to make lettuce crunchy and fresh, use different herbs and spices with sauces, better burger buns from bakery fresher, etc. They've got grills/BBQ plates. Even meat tastes better at a park BBQ. 15$ burger expensive if it ain't great.

Fully support local employment and tips if the restaurant can cook decent food, and it should be better than what I can do at home too, except pizza cause I've mastered that.

  • +24

Jeez these deals bring out the worst in ozbargainers.

For everyone saying it should be taken down - Why is it ok for you to have the deal and not anyone else?

    • +2

People think it's taking the advantage… And it's debatable. Possibly the thought of maintaining free burgers for x time would seem appealing to those who already claim too.

I would say that most deals posted are taking the advantage but tell me when a business doesn't take advantage of you or their contractors - the world rotates around a quick buck to be made anywhere and everywhere and at whatever regulated cost or expense. Few businesses operate on the good side! - luckily I remain optimistic :)

    I can never replicate it

I wanna know the secret to hungry jacks grilled chicken burger sauce

      • +2

According to their site it's their ranch sauce. The ingredients are as follows:
Sauce Ranch (Canola Oil, Water, Vinegar, Mustard [Water, Mustard Seed, Salt, Vinegar, Sugar, Food Acid (Acetic Acid), Celery Powder, Turmeric, Natural Flavour], Egg Yolk, Worcestershire Sauce, Thickeners (1442, 415), Salt, Sugar, Reconstituted Lemon Juice, Herbs (0.3%), Preservatives (211, 202), Milk Solids, Spice)

        • That’s another paddlin’ for Big Burger 😉

  • So this hack will work with any burger? Works regardless of whether you order on the app or through the website?

    • +1

A service staff kind enough to offer take-away (bless them)

not online via web nor app

    • Only certain burgers (at my local store at least)

  • +1

IDK if I did anything wrong, but I tried this and it didn't work. I went in with my free burger voucher in the app, ordered it for takeaway, they scanned my barcode, got my burger… And the voucher is now gone.

    • Probably got patched? If the staff knows what they're doing apparently the system sets it as a dine in only offer (from my experience anyway).

      • +1

I made a point of asking to takeaway, and I got the takeaway bag. But yeah he could have easily put it through as dine in I suppose.

    deal updated:

[Hack] Unlimited Free Phone Pickup Burger with Coupon (Relish Membership & 7 Prior Burger Purchases Required) @ Grill’d

for the first time after ordering a burger over the phone, was told yesterday at pickup, when also using my chip pass for the last time, that their system only allows the free burger to be redeemed for dine-in or take-away i.e. in-store only, not phone pickup, so received burger, but my coupon still remains unclaimed :)

    • Thanks for sharing this update 👍

So you just ordered the burger (and chip pass chips) over the phone for pickup but didn’t mention that you had a free burger coupon?

      • +1

burger over phone, chips via app - never mention any voucher use when ordering over the phone :)

        • Haha, legend.

        • Just to confirm, your order over the phone for pick up. Then when you rock up and go to pay you show them the free burger on the app?

  • Does this still work and is the below correct?

    My understanding:
    1. Telephone call to specific Grill'd restaurant, place an order for a burger.
    2. Arrive at the Grill'd restaurant, show your coupon on your phone.
    3. You get the burger and the coupon does not expire after showing it in store.

    • I just did exactly this and it doesnt work, voucher is gone.
