Seems a reasonable price but it seems ridiculous to quote a price + GST, particularly when something is for domestic use and aimed at Australians.
Website says "Shipping Capped at $6.95 and All Orders Over $50 Are Shipped FREE", perhaps the website should be updated.
Also suitable for offices and businesses so not that ridiculous. GST is paid on goods and services within Australia by Australians and Australian businesses. At 10% it's fairly easy to add on ($1424.50)
Free shipping on orders over $50 refers to all standard website orders. We have created a deal page specifically for this coffee machine and clearly stated the pricing within it.

As most/all other deals here are listed inclusive of GST, I believe that is the way it should presented.
After all it's fairly easy to divide the full price by 11 to work out the ex GST price, if buying for a business purpose.
Appreciate your feedback and point of view but I don't believe it really makes much difference as it states the price + gst in the title so it's not exactly misleading.
Easy enough to add or subtract the 10% either way.
So it should read "Most orders over $50 are free".
I stand by my comment about the price being inclusive of GST. Unless this post is dated June 29, 2000 and I have gone back in time. Or maybe you could just write $1504.45
I haven't got time to argue the point however for the benefit of the smaller minority that feel offended that I didn't do the maths and add on the 10% gst even though it was specified and was clearly stated in the title; I have now amended the pricing for you!

Prices were ex gst and the machine was initially listed at $1295 + gst + shipping. Unfortunately due to a couple of people taking offense to me not adding on the gst for them and giving a gst inclusive price I changed it for them in the title.
The cost of the machine is actually 50% off but then we need to charge shipping etc

This is actually a very capable machine, if you can stomach the design. I've owned the little brother, the Oscar, and upgraded it to get quite close to this one in performance, except for the volumetric controls. Add some flow restrictors (a $10 mod) as a mod for optimum temperature stability at the group head.
