UNIQLO? since when theres stores in australia
last month
There's one in Melbourne:
Emporium Melbourne
269 - 321 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
One opening in Sydney very very soon. They are slated to open 100 stores Australia wide.
"Tadashi Yanai, has laid out an aggressive expansion strategy for Australia, saying his Uniqlo fashion chain could open as many as 100 stores here, including 50 in the next three years alone."
There will be a pop up store on Pitt Street, Sydney. It is opening on 3 May.
Yeah… Love Uniqlo.
Can anyone comment on the origin of manufacture for Australian uniqlo products? China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan?
Just got something in jap and both pants and shirt made in china.
All the shirts I got from the Melbourne store are made in China.
Images suddenly don't load on the site!
Coupon code "UQ_emember_5412" is not valid.
Guess we got to sign up :/

Such a bummer; the fifty dollar shirts here are thirty five in the US. Australia tax strikes again…
Still better than Tarocash, YD and all the other crappy Aussie Clothing store
that's why I love H&M, their prices are fantastic!!
But quality and consistency is awful
100% Correct. UNIQLO is in another world when you compare Wool Tops, Jackets, Jumpers, etc.
20 bucks in Tokyo :(
Uniqlo in Korea and Malaysia cheap.
Ultra light vest 79bux here. Bought 3 in Malaysia for 25bux each on sale. Admittedly probably not many people in Malaysia need a winter vest, but still the price gap too big!!
And we have liveable wages due to much higher living standards + higher costs of logistics + higher rent prices. I'd say Uniqlo Australia is priced pretty damn well for this segment.
Can get Uniqlo business shirts for $5 a pop in Japan. They are the Cotton On of Japan. Pricing can be better.
Love their heattech stuff, cheap too.
It's $10 cheaper instore for many products (such as the wool sweaters), some are even $20 cheaper in store until 5th of May or something, so if you want a better bargain I recommend you guys visiting the Emporium. Bought 2 sweaters last time I visit, very happy.
Haha oh dear me. I thought for the longest time that Novak Djokovich was sponsoring the UNIvertsity of QLD in the Australian Open . The O looks sort of like a D and I didnt pay attention.
You may now make fun of me.
I was the same as well when I saw shopping bags at Union Square in San Francisco a couple years back or watched Adam Scott or Djokovic on TV.
Hehehe. So did Kochie.
Thanks, have been meaning to check them out!
I really appreciate how specific the size charts are on UNIQLO's website. None of this 'give or take 2 inches' bs.
You should note that Uniqlo jacks up their prices online.
Those who have ordered, try to rip off the price tag and look underneath.
