This is from an old forum discussion thread, but I have been buying from GoGetSSL lately. Comodo Positive SSL from USD$5.95/year or $3.65/year for 5 years. It's a Lativa company, but hey, what could go wrong?! :)

      • Hmm.. Weird. I only use namecheap for multi-domain SSLs, after GoDaddy jacked their SSL price up to 11, and they are still cheaper than GoGetSSL and CheapSSL.

Thanks anyway - always handy to have cheaper options!

        • Hi guys, all really good points, but even though price is king here on OzBargain, our pricing here does include Web24 support as well as free installation when you use Web24 for your hosting, which takes a lot of the headache out of the equation when you need something done right, and quickly. Also, being a fully Australian based and owned company, you can deal with someone locally rather than offshore. No Latvian or US companies to deal with (no matter how great the ice hockey may be in Latvia).

Couple this with the cloud offerings we've got, and at great prices to boot, I think you'll find it's well worth it.

With a 30 day money back guarantee on SSLs and VPS Cloud hosting, what have you go to lose?

    StartSSL Free ($25 revocation fee)
    ssls.com - $5
    cheapsslsecurity.com - $5

But I'm mainly negging you, because it is illegal to express a price as $x + GST. You must give a single price. Legalities aside it's a dick move.

Only when the product you're selling is primarily targeted at personal shoppers.. Business items are allowed to be advertised as ex GST, +GST, etc.

And seeing as how this is an SSL certificate, which has a primary target audience of business customers, it's fine.

  • Lol, first time I see a post with negative votes (score). Didn't know this can happen
