  For this price it's impossible to provide animals with "natural" living conditions and feed. I'll pass, even for Ozbargainers less can sometimes be more.

    You can't infer production costs from a one-off price point as a retail customer with limited stock on
    offer. I agree with the sentiment but I'd look at their normal selling price rather than this sale price. Even then, a product costing more doesn't mean that price difference is going to better farming conditions.

    eggsample: ~$2.80 for a dozen home brand cage eggs, ~$4 for a dozen free range home brand eggs. Sure, higher price = better conditions. But then look next to them and you still see $6+/dozen eggs which on closer inspection are still cage eggs no better than the $2.80 home brand eggs. Oh wait, they print a happy face on the eggs. That's the spirit…

      Have to agree with Chroma. As l have been told, free range is just a marketing ploy to gain more of your dollars.
