Just get the $5 off for sign up from harvey

  • Sounds like a good price considering it looks very similar to the Paperwhite

  • How does the sign up and get $5 off work? Is there a code that I can apply?

    • Sign up your email and you get unique code to your email

      • I did that but nothing came through except the welcome email. Am I doing it wrong? :S

        • That's strange… You should have received email with "Here's $5.00 as a thanks for signing up!" title. I've done it today

        • I've just signed for another email. USE VOUCHER CODE: Welcome5PET3XWK6PZBT

        • Yeah I signed up for email and got the code fine as well. Maybe you've previously used that email address? Try another one.

  • I'm sure the GLO is great but I'm a Kindle guy - not a KOBO in sight at my place!

Good price for a quality ereader though.

    Go for it.

    Cheers.

You cannot borrow ebooks from your public library with the Kindle.

Any of the Kobo range has no problem borrowing ebooks.

      • Wow did not know that at all.

      • Only legally.
You can use Calibre to strip the DRM and convert them to Kindle format with a few clicks.

Good for all those Kobo books I bought at massive discounts!

  • PM at Officeworks and get free delivery

  • Thanks OP.
Got rid of mine about six months ago and miss it enough to buy another.
Got OW to price beat so it was $102.60 for the glo

  • Bugger, jut paid $129 at JB ! Held out 4 mints too after my little 'in broke the screen on my old one.

  • Well I got the Glo, I really like the backlight. Still wish the screen technology on e-ink readers was more responsive, but for reading books it is great.
Love it more now that I was able to beat it at chess on beginner level on my first try.

    • Enjoy. Don't forget to use calibre to side load your downloaded books.

      • Yeah it's been a long time since I've used Calibre. Messed around with it years ago with my 2nd gen Kindle.

  • very tempted
