          It is if it's free

        • +2

You got problems if 1 Hawaiian pack and 1 twister make you obese

  • How long after do the codes get emailed?

    • +4

      I got it immediately.

    • +2

      a few seconds

    • Got it :)

  • +1

    Looks like KFC for lunch!

    • Anyone tired this? How Peppery is it? Not a huge fan of pepper, but free is free!

      • +3

    • +14

      well u miss out then

      • -4

true, but I still have my dignity :)

If I created a fake account and "liked" KFC or whoever, can I revoke it afterwards (or cancel it out with a "hate"?

        • +2

You can "like" it long enough just to claim the reward, then "unlike" it, but if it is a fake account or you don't have any FB friends no one will see your "likes" to care.

If you "hate" KFC don't bother to claim it.

        • +4

If you're worried about Facebook stealing your privacy, don't worry jdr. Facebook doesn't care about you.

        • +9

I created a fake Facebook account just for ozbargain. The amount of free stuff it's scored me is well worth it

        • Face book wants everything it can get from everyone it can get it from

    • +3

Enjoy your home made sandwiches then jdr! ;)

      • thanks :)

        • Admittedly I just did… Chicken, cheese, tomato!!!

        • I salute you :)

      • Enjoy your home made sandwiches then jdr! ;)

after getting this freebie just before, you would be hard pressed to make a worse tasting monstrosity at home. that being said you still cant make one for free at home so this deal still beats a home mader

unless of course… you have been cutting someone elses lunch…

    • +21

Come on now, I despise Facebook but any self respecting ozbargainer has a fake account purely for freebies

      • +6

any self respecting ozbargainer has a string of fake accounts purely for freebies

        fixed :)

        • +6

And your own domain to create multiple/more email addresses

Or if you don't have your own domain, just use the gmail+alias trick :)

    • +15

A true ozbargainer has little respect for their dignity, just like when I dressed as a tradie to get free KFC on tradie appreciation day, despite being a IT help desk operator.

      • +2

My local coffee shop has half price coffees for tradies. Might have to get myself a tradie outfit.

  • Do you need to print it out or can you just give them the code via your mobile device? sorry found the answer.

    • Just show them the code.

  • Thanks OP

  • What I want to know is can I use this again and again for 24 hours.

    • codes are unique

      • if it's anything like last time the code is just a formality, all they do is give you the wrap and need not enter anything

    • +1

"What I want to know is can I use this again and again for 24 hours."

Only if you have private medical cover.

    • +2

just got mine, manager barely even looked at my phone. So i think it's safe to say that you can resuse them

      • Are you saying a screen shot could potentially work for a revisit?

        • i just emailed the original email to my fone (i use different accounts on my pc and my fone) and shown them that. they dont look at the code at all.

  • +4

    Server Error in '/shssl03' Application.

anyone else getting this error? or just me>?

    • Yes, tried all browsers. What to do?

    • on their main FB page they said had prob, but fixed now.

      • Still not working for me :(

    • +1

Just found the problem: If your facebook email isn't valid, it will give you this error. Just changed mine to a legit one and then back again. Hope this works for you!

      • yeah i got this error on one of my 5 accounts
edit: thanks.. changing email address fixed it. can use a temporary one from mailinator.com

  • +4

Just claimed. Email came into my junk folder so check there peeps!

    • Thankyou kind sir, it was there!

    • +3

Likewise. Maybe Hotmail is telling us something!

  • Anyone plz do a pdf up like before :)

    • i need one too

      • +1

        code is unique

  • IT IS IN JUNK IF YOU CAN"T FIND IT

  • Nice one OP !!!

  • thanks OP, BTW, How much $ is it without this code?

    • "Each Product is valued at $6.95"

  • Thanks OP! Awesome deal. Did one for me and then logged in to my partners facebook to get her one. Had to click a whole lot of times to actually get the "email" button to come up - my guess is the server is under too much load or something. I would love to know how many of the free twisters are taken by ozbargainers.

  • How long will it take to receive email? Seems not instant.

Got it but I have lunch today …. will have to claim it tomorrow.

    • Check Junk

      • +3

        for junk food

        • I'm junk food

        • -1

          You're a junk user

        • I eat junk. junk is food. i eat food.

  • 8439 remaining

    • +2

Now that it's on Ozbargain, that number will now exponentially decline lol

  • +1

Got 1.. To lazy go to KFC.. :)

    Thanks OP..

  • The link for the Twister is no longer coming up on the FB page

  • Got one, around 7000 left

  • Is it valid in SA KFC?

    • From memory (might be wrong) but I think Yum! (owner of kfc globally) directly operates all south australian KFCs so it should definitely be accepted. In any case this comes directly from Yum! so it's probably valid at all KFCs australia wide, franchised or not.

      • Yeah if it wasn't in SA it should say "Only vaild x,x,x"

        • definitely works in SA tho the chic behind the counter and one of the managers had no idea how to do it on the register, had to call yet another manager who finally sused it

  • +3

are any of you getting a "runtime error" when trying this?

    • I tried with Chrome and it worked, not sure if it was a problem at their end, and starting a new session helped, or if it was an IE specific problem.

  • +2

I went to my local KFC and was told by the manager they have no record of this deal and turned my freebie down! had to pay full price, going to kit KFC head office up now..

    :)

    • +3

wat, so you still went ahead with the purchase :o

      • Yeah mate, Hungry! :D

Anyway I reckon the outcome to my complaint to KFC head office will result in a freebie regardless..

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your recent experience with KFC.

Your complaint regarding marketing has been received and lodged in our system under reference ********.

We do appreciate all feedback and your comments have been passed on for review and follow up.

        • -3

Oh man I got a great idea, just send a bunch of these out via fake email aliases and get enough twisters for a month. Cheers mate. My Ozbargain senses are kicking in

        • +3

It lasts until thursday, aka tomorrow.

        • They would give you a different one for a complaint

        • KFC FB Page have been in contact with me, letting me know they are looking into how I was dealt with when I ordered using the freebie coupon in store today :) hoping to get some kind of freebie out of it :) the wrap tasted good! :)

        • I never heard anything further back about my complaint. Got much the same generic response and that was all. Similar thing with the free upsize deal (April fools one) they ran, store manager said they'd been told not to accept it. Pretty silly that stores try to pick and choose what promos they will allow.

        • +1

I'd been chatting to them via Facebook as well,

Thanks Gomo - did you show them the redemption code which would have been emailed through to you when you claimed the offer?
Yes showed them the Facebook post as well! It was a manager I was originally served by
Ok - can you please send me a screen grab of the email you received with the offer and I will get our customer service team to look into it. Thanks,
          Sent them the photo,
Thanks Gomo - I've logged the issue with customer service so one of them will be in contact with you.

        • +2

Everyone will be pleased to know I just received a letter in the mail with a voucher for a free twister meal :)

        • will be much happier once you post up a scan of the voucher ;)

        • +1

haha it's not really a voucher it's a letter with my name and address on it and shows to show the voucher to the staff to claim it, valid for 2 months.

Highly Doubt it can be re-used they would have to have a system in place for this kind of thing, plus it's kind of scamming them so I won't do it ;)

        • Highly Doubt it can be re-used they would have to have a system in place for this kind of thing, plus it's kind of scamming them so I won't do it ;)

your forgiven for thinking that, that was also the purpose of them giving out unique codes on the vouchers for this deal but the 4 twisters i got using the same code somewhat proves otherwise :P

        • +2

Mate, your piece of paper will go straight into the bin after you hand it over to them! There's no special systems put in place for you… They just hit the promo button!

        • i've received such a voucher before from kfc. it's printed on a thicker paper with a serial number. now, serial replicator of things that i am, i wasn't going to try and copy this one.

    • +2

What the hell I wouldn't buy it of they rejected it. I'd just sit in the drive thru arguing and clogging it up. They'd either have to let me have it or lose much more $$$ in business haha.

      • +2

Yep, did the same when local 5ubw4y rejected my Birthday claim!!!

      • +4

that's a good way to get some extra spices in your mayo!

  • Is it valid in QLD?

    • I was denied today in QLD

      • In Brisbane yesterday ….
(Team member to manager) "How do we do these ones again?"
(Manager) "Just enter (yadda yadda), oh and write the voucher number on the back of our docket".
Order accepted. Then while I was waiting, the manager said to staff "The codes are all the same anyway".
The codes are NOT all the same (I used the one posted above though had already got my own different one). More than one Ozbargainer in Brisbane I'm a thinking!
