  I'm in the hunt for a decent bluetooth speaker for my iPad/iPod Touch, but didn't want to pay 180-200 for a UE Boom or JBL Charge. Wonder how this compares to either of those options (this certainly looks nicer). Reviews look alright on Amazon too. Thanks for posting, I never would have found this. Absolutely perfect size for when out on the bike too.

    What price would the boom have to be before you got it? $155 delivered from Logitechshop via their eBay store is a steal. Have one myself and highly recommended… Water resistance is a huge plus

    I've got a Jawbone Jambox (original, not the mini) and i took it on holidays recently, a friend came along and he bought his Mini Jambox and i was surprised that the mini pumps out more volume than my original.

  I have the big Jambox and it is very very good.
  I have heard both the original jambox and the mini, and like emerson mentioned I was surprised to hear that the sound output is on par if not better than the original jam box.

  I’m suggesting an alternative for the stingy: get a Bluetooth to 30-pin dock connector. Then you can use Bluetooth playback to the outdated 30-pin docks out there (e.g. Logitech Purefi series).

  No speaker phone functionality though.

  eBay sells them for <$10.
