I have two promotion codes. If you use one of the below codes, you will get $30 off your unwired modem purchase. FGAF125-9UCV-95RP, FGAF125-AVGJ-HU3P. I don't think there is an expiry date. However, Unwired is offering a rebate reducing their modem cost to $49 and there is an expiry date of 30 June 2009. Using the code I gave you will reduce the modem by a further $30.

There is no need to use a phone line for Unwired. Their plans are very reasonable (see below). In addition, you can actually set up wireless with a router to share the plan between computers. If you exceed your download limit, there is no extra charge. Once you have used up your allowance in either the Peak or Off-Peak periods, your speed will be reduced to the throttled speed (64/64 kbps) until your next billing period. You may check your usage in the 'My Account' section of the website. Also, you can buy extra blocks of usage.

  UNWIRED does not work anywhere outside the Metropolitan area anywhere.

  In Sydney, it doesn't work any further North than Berowra, Sydney.

  You will not get a signal.

  UNWIRED doesn't care about you, if you don't live in Sydney. I have written to their General Manager, and he said "We will not offer a service to your area, Gosford, even thought it's only an hours drive from Sydney".

  I'm curious how this technology works.. is this a 3G type thing? How do they get the data to you?

  the discount code doesn't seem to work i just copy and pasted.
  it comes up with "The discount voucher code supplied is not valid"

    The discount code only works once. Did you use this one? FGAF125-9UCV-95RP If it does not work, may be another reader has used it. Please try the other one FGAF125-AVGJ-HU3P . Let me know if it works fine.

  Yes, I was given 3 codes. A friend has used one. So only 2 codes were left.
  First in best dressed. I think I shall get more next month though. Did you want to buy an Unwired modem? Have you tried the code?
