I wouldn't risk it check this, see review from PC Mag >>>http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2419549,00.asp
or user reviews from here >>>http://download.cnet.com/IObit-Malware-Fighter/3000-8022_4-10967594.html#rateit

    BOTTOM LINE
There's absolutely no reason to buy or even try IObit Malware Fighter 2. It doesn't function as an antivirus and doesn't effectively fight malware. In testing, it reported seven thoroughly infested systems as perfectly clean. Avoid it.

Definitely would not risk your system to "try" an Anti-Malware program, especially one that performed this poorly.
    Always Google a review 1st.

    • Yeah. Well I did say there were mixed reviews. I did Google reviews before I listed and the first one that came up for me was c|net that gave it 4 starts - http://download.cnet.com/IObit-Malware-Fighter/3000-8022_4-1…
I haven't tried this myself because I'm currently using Malwarebytes. Just thought I'd list it for anyone who may want to try it. Cheers.

Google the two entities and you will find that IObit had been accused of stealing Malwarebytes' data in the past - their updates were mirroring those of Malwarebytes.

A lot of their other advertised tools look dodgy as. Lots of polished and rolled in glitter turds from what I can see. Stick with MalwareBytes.

I would avoid all obit stuff, used their anti virus program and it hijacked my browsers.

IObit are an extremely dodgy Chinese company that make terrible software and no one should support them. Period.

Any number of freeware alternatives are far better: SUPER AntiSpyware, MalwareBytes and AVAST.

    • Thanks for the link. Confirms what I was thinking.
