Noticed the toilet paper thread

This is an area I don't go cheap on
I personally prefer Quilton, for quality and generally quantity.

Quilton
Sorbent. Quilton is too thin.
Quilton — cheap everyday price at BigW/Woolies, or whenever it's on sale like these professional ozbargainers.
Cheap single ply all the way!
That is one time a breakthrough is something you really, really don't want.
Woolworths home brand.
Quilton for the bottom, but Sorbent for the nose…
Kleenex is not good for anything/anywhere…and overpriced.

Quilton 4 ply - Luxury
We used to use Woolworths home brand. We now use Aldi Confidence. Way cheaper than any others. Good quality.
Whats the cost per 100 sheets on the Aldi Confidence?
Are they 2ply/3ply/4ply?
I buy the 3ply 24pk for $8.99 which works out pretty good at 37.5c per roll (190 sheets) and 20c per 100 sheets. Not the cheapest but an everyday price for a good paper. They do have cheaper but i didn't like using them.
Aldi toilet paper is best used as tissue paper, too thin and end up using too much per dump.
Scratch that, found the answer in the other thread:
Aldi brand CONFIDENCE Toilet Tissue 2ply 12pk $3.79 (12c per 100 sheets)
They have cheaper 24pk I think.
Sand paper
Pfft… money down the toilet ;)
Brand new $5 note.
joke obviously
smudge..
I don't have a $5 note - can I use a few $1 and $2 coins instead?
As long as you know the high risk of loosing the coin by accidental insertion.
For me, whichever is on sale when I'm running out of my stock at home. Interchanged between Quilton, Kleenex and Sorbent depending on which have the best bargain - haven't really seen any difference between them (maybe some textural difference but at the end of the day, it's sole purpose is to give me a good wipe).
I've also tried the Aldi Confidence but ended up using more per dump + increased risk of the dreaded 'poke-through' due to the 1-2 ply less in the Confidence paper.
increased risk of the dreaded 'poke-through'
but not with kleenex? :)

Hose from Garden hooked up to the toilet plumbing with trigger nozzle/various output selections for the win here.
Is this how the bidet started before it went upmarket?
Quilton, Kleenex or Sorbent depending on which is on sale!
I am still young enough to recall in the good old days, years before current products were available, the use of good old newspaper. It also provided the opportunity to catch-up with the news, in a cold outside toilet, with an overhead pull chain.
Won't you get a black arse?
No it will be well read.
Quilton baby, ain't nuthin better.
have people found the quilton sold from woolies when they had a special recently slightly different to the ones Big w sells? the quality and thickness is slightly less
I visited Sweden and I saw the high standards that they have for many things. For toilet tissue - no ink, no dyes, no perfumes, not recycled (plantation timber used) etc etc. I have become more aware that there are toxins that can be absorbed. So I opt. for Sorbent Hypo-allergenic. Not expensive if stock up when on sale (often).
Definitely whatever brand on sale that is not perfumed. Sorbent #1 but also woolworths homebrand is good. Having said that I don't like Quilton at all.
I bought an enormous pack of Sorbent hypoallegenic double length rolls from Costco about six weeks ago and we are only about a third of the way into it. I'm not sure that there was any great saving (it was slightly cheaper) but it's great knowing that there's a mountain of paper stored away in case of an unexpected case of the squirts!
I don't see why the above was neg, I can't stand perfumed products
socks for me
Soap and water
What's all this talk about wasteful toilet paper? Don't you all have a toilet brush at home?
water. would you wash your armpits with a dry piece of paper?
how about flushable wipes? :)
toilet paper over or under the toilet roll?
Kleenix aleo vera softest for the nose…..
Quilton for the bum and other sensitive areas….
Quilton all others are bottom of the piles
^ forgive him, he's "new".

I was in a part of the world recently where they do not use toilet paper.
Me: "Dude! Where's the toilet paper?"
Friend: "I guess we have to do it like the natives."
So we did. for 2 weeks.
I buy the Naturale brand one with the frog on it. Why? It's usually amongst the cheapest (at normal price), it's recycled material and it's decent enough. I'm certainly not that fussy in this area, unless it is one ply homebrand we are talking about.
Why has this popped up after a year?
Anyway I say Quilton or Kirkland (Costco)
Cos imhygiene spammed it.
There's also a newer 2015 TP topic, and he spammed that too! Wants to sell his TP service.
Shameful disregard for posting rules.
Quilton.
