RoboForm is great although after I looked at the data their cloud version stores I abandoned it. (It stores urls obfuscated but still readable by anyone who can code a simple script)
LastPass is great! But turn off autofill by default (so you need to click the icon to autofill)
I gave up KeePass because it doesn't integrate into the browser.

But +1 because some people like 1Password (never used it) and 50% off it just sweet.

Been using 1Password personally and it's totally worth it.

I also use LastPass for staff access.

  • Haven't tried this but Lastpass works great and it's free. It's also on android. windows phone, and blackberry os. The fact that you have to buy a license for each platform doesn't seem worth it.

  • Does the coupon work on the Mac App Store?

    • Unfortunately no :(

I keep looking at it, but never can be convinced. $18 dollars for the iOS app which you need on your iPhone and iPad, then the Mac and Windows versions are separate. No webapp that I can see, so you need to have this software on every computer you intend to use?

Seems like once you put your passwords in it, unless you can memorize the complex passwords it auto generates for you, you're stuck in to buying each product in their ecosystem.

  • Best of the best, but also most expensive. I'm still using it on a couple of different platforms, but the upgrade proce$$ is what makes me occasionally look at the alternatives,

  • I love 1password in a way that is perhaps unnatural… ;-)

This is a good deal, and the iPhone app does go on sale every now and then…. Overall I'm happy with it… But, the android app is virtually useless…. Very annoying… You can export the info so you aren't locked into it… And the auto filling passwords etc usually works well - including credit card info…. But heads up if you plan to use it a lot on android…

  • I have 1Password on my iPhone and iPad but didn't upgrade my Mac as it was pretty expensive. Might finally to this with the 50% off and take a Family Licence. The discount code above seems to offer pretty much the same discount as what you'd get if upgrading from a previous version, and not valid for my upgrade price.

  • I've been using this method flawlessly.

(Website 1st letter)+(your own favourite code)+(website last letter)

You only ever have to remember your own code as it never ever changes, regardless of website.

Choose the order or sequence which suits you and stick to it.

  • Keep in mind one important thing: if you purchase 1Password for Mac at their website, you won't be able to use iCloud sync at all. You need to purchase it at the Mac App Store to have it (there is also a 50% discount).

  • This offer still works as of now. I installed the trial and I must say it's a very nice app. So tempting to purchase it now, just trying to decide to get the family bundle or single user license.

    • $12 to install on 4 more PCs… Just do it… ;-)

      • It would of cost me $13 for just the mac version since I got the 50% off itunes gift cards a couple weeks back. but yeah I went for the family bundle since it's so much better value.

  • Anyone think Knox is worth it?
