One minute on the lip equals life time on the hips

    • +2

that should headline the obesity campaign

    • +6

      Not necessarily

    • +38

So if its on the lips for 2 minutes, I live 2 lifetimes?

    • +7

I ate one of these $5 lunch box in 5 minutes recently, so does that mean it will stay on my hips for 5 life times? Even if I reincarnate as a cockroach in my next life, I will be a cockroach with a fat arse? I want to cry now :(

    • +5

way to go on discouraging people to have tasty things in moderation and exercising in turn.

      • -1

battery chicken, soft drink and low quality chips. Yeah uh, I think discouraging that is quite ok

        • +36

How many times can I recharge this battery chicken you speak of?

        • +4

Less than a minute, it has "low quality chips".

        • +13

Eneloop chicken…now that'd be a popular OzB deal

        • +3

          battery chicken

          Must taste…rather, electrifying

        • +2

          Not a hard cell then.

        • +1

          How much do they charge?

        • -2

Mmn so delicious, chocked full of that sweet sweet antibiotics and growth hormones.

I think we should put people in battery farms too, shit would be hilarious.

I cant believe how defensive people are about their fast food, its mind boggling haha

    • +1

What if I put it on my lip for 2 minutes and spit it out? WIN-WIN??!!

      • +2

the force is strong in this one.

    • +4

Don't eat this = no need to exercise, save gym membership fees! That's a bargain in itself lol

      • +1

There are heaps of free places to go running. You don't need a gym or money to exercise.

  • 1x twister mini

    Yes! Much better

    • +6

i say popcorn mini + 1 wicked wing is more filling, this seems like less.

      • +1

Yeah true. I've tried to avoid them either way because it feels like a waste of money paying for the potato & gravy (which I don't like). If I really need to get anything (trying to cut down these days), I just go to Maccas and get a McDouble + Small Fries + Free Medium Drink (Student Edge card).

        • The student edge card doesn't work for loose change menu…

        • +2

Was told Mcdouble is off the loose change menu and is now 4 bucks. I don't know what to do with my life now.

        • I always swap the potato and gravy out of every meal anyway. Typically for dinner rolls, depending where you go they will give you between 2 and 6 :O

You can also swap it for an upgrade to large chips.

        • Dinner rolls are the best thing at KFC…

        • @nullability, At the store I visit, it's still on there.

        • @darkchaos51 It works for me ;)

      • +3

add the survey receipts with a free chips and drinks for $5 ! more filling !

        • @leehungfei – that's true. Although, I'm really trying to reduce this kind of food now, so I have to resort to expensive Subway :(

    • +1

If it was a mini twister (crispy strip) I'd like it but that pic is grilled which I dont like.

  • +1

    That's a tiny drink.

    • +2

      That's a tiny drink.

      It's a tiny price :)

      • +1

But is it the equivalent of a $5 Feed from McDs?

        • +6

I believe both amount to the same quantity of poop.

    • +2

      Oporto snack wrap ($3) + Big W Pepsi 355ml ($1.20)

      • +1

Lemon and herb wrap snackers are the shit!

    • 250ml is considered tiny? Wut.

  • +3

    What's the macros for this?

      • +2

        Protein provides 18% of energy
        Fat = 38%
        Carbs = 44%

There's a heap of sodium in that meal. Basically your entire intake for the day.

        • +4

All KFC chips are like ur entire sodium for a day.

        • +1

No one needs that much sodium per day.

        • You can ask for not salted; but sometimes you gotta wait.

    • IIFYM ?

  • +1

I haven't had a twister mini before, how are they? Are they about the same size as the mini sub they used to offer with this box?

    • +1

It really depends on who makes it, size and quality can change drastically

  • +6

I'll assume QLD gets no drink. rolls eyes

    • +13

I'm not feeling sorry for someone with permanent access to hot and spicy chicken :)

      • WA has it too and we get the drink I think.

        • +20

Yeah but you have to live in WA :P

  • +6

the burgers have more chicken at hungry jacks

  • Love some cheap box

    • -1

      lol

    • +3

But you only get one minute with the lips.

  • +4

Too small for me. I'll have a large twister, large chips, extra large mash n gravy… but make it a large coke zero. I'm on a diet

    • -2

Not sure if youre joking or not, but having a diet drink over a normal one cuts a significant amount of calories from the meal.

    • +1

diets are for the weak willed. Yeah you can save a 100 or so calories by having a can of diet soda, well worth it after your 700 calorie snack. lol

      • 100 calories vs aspartme and bad taste.

Would rather just exercise it off.

    • Ain't no coke at Kfc.

Plus they delibrately include the kJ count with a Pepsi max for this very reason to lower the total kJ count overall.

  • +4

Finally some smart portion sizes! I don't mind paying less for less!

  • +1

Just love that potato and gravy. Can I have water instead of soft drink?

    • no, unless u pay extra

    • Just love that potato and gravy

      Somebody loves that stuff?!

      • +1

        Yes I do too

  • Just love that potato and gravy. Can I have water instead of soft drink?

Sure you can, just ask for tap water, or let them fill the cup with ice instead of softdrink.

  • +1

I had one of these today.. Never again

I didnt really read the contents too well but it has (as already stated) a tiny drink.

but the mini twister was a joke. Nothing like on the picture. My bit of chicken wa about 2 cm wide and 6 cm long. The picture shows on about 6cm wide.

Tasted horrible also. I think I will go back to a street wise next time

  • +1

I bought one today, man the wrap is tiny

  • +2

Thought i got a great deal at KFC last week. I bought 9pcs for $9.95 (Tuesday special) original and asked for 7 wings and 2 breasts (they are the only pces i eat). I had a survey docket from a few wks previous (which i thought may have expired) and said i would like the free chips and drink (only spent $14 so was expecting small of both) then she asked which large bottle of drink i wanted and i noticed that she had put a lge chips on my order. So yippy i got large instead. Now i had a 30min drive home so ate the chips then drove home. Got home and was all excited (as you do ) as i was getting the chicken out to heat up for lunch i noticed only 3 wings 1 breast then a drumstick and 3 ribs 2 thighs. Not happy!!!! but i still had enough to have some lunch, then i picked a bit of the oh so yummy coating of one piece and wammo….hot and spicy. Dam it to hell, i hate anything hot or spicy…… so although i had eaten the chips i had no lunch and was not driving 30mins back to the store. So i am expecting a letter to replace the shit they gave me…..I think it was the universe telling me no more KFC….hmmm

    • +1

they have set combinations rolling out now. Soon you can't choose what you want

  • Just had a look… up in QLD. Snack wrap, chips and potato and gravy for $5. Not really good value.

I always by-pass this and hand in my receipt for a free chips and drink :) It's like a streetwise burger combo with an actual chicken pattie.
