We bought a big Palsonic TV about 20 years ago. We got rid of it a few years back because we lost the remote. It was still in great working order before that.

my parents had a palsonic in their lounge for years and it never skipped a beat until we upgraded, gave it to some friends at the time and they used it for years more to come

My parents bought a HUGE (bulky) 80cm Palsonic TV about 12 years ago. The power supply blew up (LITERALLY blew up, shattering the tube) about 6 years ago.

  • A poor mans Panasonic.

  • Thanks! Looking for a medium size TV in my room and this is perfect. Just ordered one :D

I once proudly said we owned a panasonic, turned out after all that time it was palsonic.

    LOL

Edit: Though it did last for many many years. Though saying that doesn't make a difference.

  • Love to do a side by side comparison ie: screen, menu etc (to see if money saved worthwhile of course)

  • COTD deal on Blaupunkt which is also 100Hz at $349 seems like a better TV. http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/37592/product/blaupunk…

    • Coincidentally they both have the same OSD menu.

  • So whats the picture quality like on the 58"?

  • 75w for the 39" and 180w for the 58"
