Pretty clear what it is, solid timber. Why the assumptions of engineered boards or laminate?

Seriously, OzBargainers are far too skeptical these days. No wonder the Store Rep didn't reply. This attitude will stop others from posting deals also. Clean it up.

  The attached "care and maintenance" PDF says it is laminate.
  Maybe they linked the wrong doc?
  
  Anyway, a quick google tells me that the engineered/laminate version costs a bit more.
  Can you use the solid version for a floating floor, or does it need to be nailed down?
