Bit of a niche product but for any of you that are looking for graduated neutral density filters (100mm), Amazon seem to have it relatively cheaper compared to other sites.

These filters easily go for around a $100 AUD each, of course not as good as the Lee filters but better than the Kood filters that can be gotten for ~50-60 bucks each. These should fit any 100mm filter (Lee, Cokin Z etc), the dimensions on these are 100mm x 125 mm and they are soft edged.

There were still 8 in stock at the time of my order and it said 'more on it's way'.

  • What are these for? Photography or something?

    • Yes, these are for photography.

Neutral density filters in general help reduce the amount of light coming in so one can do long exposure photography - those waterfalls with the 'flowing' effect you see etc. There are other benefits too of course.

Graduated neutral density filters are basically similar to ND filter but with a graduation, so say if you were shooting the sky or the horizon - your foreground will have the right exposure but the sky would be blown out with little shadow detail. This helps by reducing the volume of light.

I'm no expert and have literally no practical experience but excited to explore with my new kit !
