Is this good one? I am looking for modem router to replace my Netgear DGN1000
I have this … replaced an older tplink.
I can honestly say I'd probably go the dlink(cringe) or tplink issues I've found:
The pro - it came with a free offer for the AC network usb via a mail in. Been meaning to set it up one day. Also sharing of hdd was relatively easy.
With all that said it works but I dont really notice any substantial speed diffs on wireless n or adsl2 performance and stability.

Good performance at close to medium range, Lucklustre long range performance.
That's the 6300 but it's probably similar.
It is the same. 6300 has a built in DSL where the 6200 is only a ROUTER.
These are great but I sold mine off and invested in night hawks as I needed better range and like to keep up to date. @ 140 its a decent a/c router.
According to the specs and photo's on the deal link, this 6200 is a MODEM and a ROUTER.
R series are the router , while the D series are the modem~ :D
6200 = WiFi — 300+867† Mbps speeds , while 6300 = WiFi—300+1300 Mbps speeds
Its both modem and a (useless) router :p see additional comments above.
Now i remember why i went for the 6300 back then :P
still the 6200 is more then enough for most people. To really use the full advantage of the wireless you still do need devices that support it. Im thinking most people would be buying this with older wireless devices that have no real advantage with this routers true speeds.
Cool, I can finally put my trusty old Netgear DG834v4 to retirement.
This should be a nice upgrade for a modem router under $150.
I just had a thought. You could also try price matching this at Officeworks if you want it quick and grab an extra 5% off :P Total would be $133.00
Will OW pricematch an ebay group buy?
I say find the sellers store. Most of the Australian ebay sellers have shops and if your smart about it, you should be able to get the workers at OW to do it just DONT mention ebay.
Can't find the store front outside ebay and this is a group-deal price. The guy is selling the router for $179 individually. One way or the other, I don't think you can avoid mentioning ebay.
$155 at MSY as in 1st comment
I think siggy was suggesting a pricematch against this $140 deal.
