Found this at Baby Bunting. Actual price is $179. Around 40% off actual price. My understanding about baby seats brands is that Infa-Secure is one good brand to consider, and is far less than many places I came across (both online and In-Store).

Hope this helps few of those who are looking to buy car seats and to-be parents.

Regards.

The dollar sign is before the number in Australia. Thanks.

For the sake of your baby, please don't be cheap when buying a car seat. Make sure to pick one that has a decent rating from the Australian government independent crash tests.

    See here for details:

It's not a definitive list of ALL baby seats, but at least if it's on there you know what you're getting.

      those results are all CREP…

You can buy a 'quality' seat 'cheap' if you shop around…

Sorry yeah you're right. Definitely price is no indicator of safety. One of the top rated seats is actually one of the cheapest to buy.
In any case, don't let the sales person suck you in. Pays to do your research.

    • How safe is this one in question?

      • +1

No telling how safe it is as it hasn't been tested under the CREP program.

I suspect if the manufacturers aren't confident that the seat will get good results, they wont submit it for testing?

Off topic, there is a similar site for helmet reviews - crash.org.au
