Yep, fully compatible with any netbook used as a stand to prop-up this monitor.

BTW, I am not Dell's or anyone else's Store Rep - not sure whay OzB is showing that.
You would have had the store rep check box ticked when posting.
It sounds like it can display lower resolutions, cropped to 1:1 pixel ratio.
This will go great with my $199 netbook!
