  • Very fragile receiver USB
Owned one used it about 10 times in a 4-6 month period and then the keyboard decided to not work even with new batteries but the mouse was still ok

    • I've used the same tiny unifying receiver for several years without problem. It's just a pity you can only be paired with one receiver at a time.

      • There's no suggestion on the Logitech website that this is a "Unifying Receiver". I'd suggest the receiver will only work with this mouse & keyboard combo ONLY.

Its the same unifying receiver that comes with all Logitech keyboards and I did not find it fragile at all.

Must be the same little receiver that comes with the Logitech G700s mouse. I don't find it fragile. What are people doing dropping it on the floor and standing on it or some thing.

        • ditto, unifying receiver in the side of my monitor. its so small unlike the old chunky receivers that it would be perfect for a laptop etc that might get bumped.

short of doing something dumb like jumping on it or hitting it with a hammer its perfectly fine.

    • if you wanna save stress on your usb dongles, plug it to a Male->female USB cable

  • Good price. These were still $24 with the Dick Smith 40% off deal the other day.

It's a shame it doesn't have the Unifying receiver.

    • It does say it is unified nano receiver.

  • We have been using 2 sets of these here for the past couple of years. They cop a decent work out too… cannot fault them.
    Battery life is very good.

    • how long does batt life last usually?

        24 month - keyboard
        12 month - mouse

where did you pick up your time machine from? or do you have some other way to test 2 years of life in only a few hours? :)

      • I've had the MK270 for just a few months and the mouse battery already went flat.
I have replaced with a rechargeable, which I find works well in the older MK260.
Keyboard is still going strong however.
        Both models work flawlessly.

  • At Jb hifi website, for logitech K270 it is 24 months battery life. I think it is the same keyboard for MK270 mouse and keyboard combo.
