    RIP Blackberry :(

      • nowdays, Blackberry messenger is another Whatsapp, viber, skype, etc

yeah, but not as good as whatsapp or other messangers. Very slow and sometimes it's very hard to send/receive picture messages. I use BBM on my S4 just to connect to my other friends who cannot install whatsapp on their blackberry devices.

Why can't they install Whatsapp on their BBs? My wife has it on her secured corproate-issue BB.

BBM has 'Read' confirmation while Whatsapp does not.
It is important to know the recipient has read your message.
Whatsapp only tells you that message has been delivered with 2nd tick, but you do not know if the recipient has read your message.

I use Kik on my android, as I used to use BB messenger when I had a BB, and I missed the Sent, Delivered and Read indicators. Kik has them. Quite handy to know whether your message got stuck and never went out, if it went out but the other person has their phone off or are out of reception, or are just ignoring messages (or just your messages ;), or just reading your messages, and not replying.

  • "It's fully Adobe® Flash® 10.1 enabled"

    That's a negative for most people…

I actually view it as a positive. I wish more mobile devices had flash support. Although I guess it helped with the roll out of HTML 5.

I got given one of these recently, updated it to the latest software and at its core it's quite good. It's just a shame there are so few apps, haven't tried side loading android apps yet.

My point is that this probably should not be your primary tablet unless you've got the patience to side load android apps.

Finally, this is NOT getting blackberry OS 10.

  • Should be $99 for a 32gb brand new one by now. Old tech, dead OS. I miss BB's heyday. They made some great stuff (although you paid an exorbitant premium for it).
